SID: Hello, Sid Roth here with Jeff and Theresa Hurlbert. Unbelievable. He goes from a million dollar business in three months. Just one little drug, tailspinned, lost his business, lost everything, finds himself homeless living in his car in a church parking lot and now his car is going to be repossessed and he knows that he is dying. At two or three in the morning he hears a fight going on, explain.

JEFF: Well, I used to seek refuge in this parking lot and at probably three in the morning the inside of my car seemed to expand, maybe twelve feet high and twelve feet out. And in front of my car a fight erupted but at that time red light encompassed the car and I was thinking to myself, the police are here, they have their lights on and I’m going to go to jail. But this fight, I never heard any word but it was two very large, I would say men or beings, just erupted in front of my car and came onto the hood of the car.

SID: That’s all you need was a fight. You just want to die. There was a fight going on, on top of your own car.

JEFF: Exactly; the car is shaking and I’m holding onto the steering wheel and I’m thinking to myself, this is nuts. The fight goes to the roof and the car is rocking and all of the sudden, it was like gone, totally silent. And it was in the middle of winter and I broke the door open because it was frozen shut and nothing, nobody was around. And I heard God say, I have come and I am fighting for you tonight. Because I had not drank or eaten, I knew my body was shutting down and I felt like I was one foot in the world and one foot in maybe the supernatural realm and I think that I would have died that night if not for God.

SID: So you determine that you are going to pull your life together, you call home, what happened?

JEFF: Well I called home and my parents who had been praying for me for more than a couple of decades said, if you come here we have absolute support for you. If you stay where you are we will pray for you.

SID: So you immediately decide, I’m going home and you get in your car to go to a drug rehab type of program and your car breaks down. So what do you do?

JEFF: It did. In the middle of Oregon my van blew up and I heard the Lord say to me, if you don’t get out of this van it will be your coffin. And it just so happened that I was able to get to an off ramp after walking for many miles and the first place that I went in, there was a man there and he gave me twenty dollar bill and he said I knew that you were coming and I want you to go get something to eat.

SID: you didn’t have any money and you’re probably famished.

JEFF: Yeah, yeah. And so, the only restaurant is across the freeway. So I make my way towards the restaurant and I realize halfway across the overpass that there is a desire to throw myself over. And so I ran and I did get a bite to eat and on my way back I knew, I’ve got to cross that bridge again. And I just prayed. And got enough strength from God to make it across. And my father actually came and picked me up.

SID: Now how many hours away by car was that?

JEFF: Now here is something that is think is phenomenal. He was ten or twelve hours away by car, he says he knows, he remembers none of this, but he felt like he just got in the car and drove to me. But it was only about three or four hours later. I can’t explain that.

SID: So time was compressed.

JEFF: It was important, because I don’t think that I would have made it.

SID: So you’re about ready to go into this drug rehabilitation program and you’re listening to some music and something amazing happened to you, what happened?

JEFF: Well I had an open vision that I was this beat up dog. The kind of dog that you might see in a back alley somewhere, just abused and not fed. And I saw the hand of God go over me and I knew that this dog was symbolic of me and the condition that I was in. and as God placed his hand over me fleas jumped off and I knew at that moment that I had been set free in an instant.

SID: You were instantly set free of your total addiction?

JEFF: Instantly. Absolutely.

SID: So, fast forward, he’s free, he loves God. Were you a youth pastor at the church that you were at?

JEFF: I was.

SID: Alright, a youth pastor, and Theresa comes to play her flute, prophesies over him, the rest is history, they’re married today. Tell me some miracles that you two have seen, like the person that needed a new kidney.

JEFF: Right, a lot of times, and I think it’s so fabulous that God has placed us together because our giftings really match. I can see people in the congregation or in the audience or even if it’s a bigger group, I can see, he shows me people that it would most affect and most speak to the group. I invited this young man up and I knew because of my experience that he was on drugs, that his kidneys were shutting down and it was a dire situation. And I felt like God said, I want you to pray for his kidneys, I am going to give him new ones today and I’m going to heal him. I’m going to set him free.

SID: Boy that’s stepping out just like your wife steps out in the studio, with no music to do a recording session.

JEFF: It is, and you really have to be able to just do that and so I said everything that I heard and as it turned out he had just gotten out of the hospital from being in a coma, kidney failure because of drugs. And we still have communication with him today.

SID: What happened to the kidney failure kidney?

JEFF: It got healed. He was healed.

SID: My goodness, you’re taking that a little lightly. That is very dramatic.

JEFF: It’s incredible.

SID: Tell me about someone else that was healed. I like to hear people being healed.

JEFF: Ok, one of my favorites, we have loads of stories. One of my favorites is a Cambodian woman, seventy something years old, broken back three times, crooked, walked with a cane hunched over and her desire was to go to Cambodia to spread love to her people, and be a servant to her people. She can’t because in Cambodia a lot of the roads have big pot holes and she can’t walk so it’s been impossible for her to go. Well at one of our concerts she got miraculously healed, I heard the Lord say, have this woman put her hand on her back pray for healing for her. The next morning she came into the service, no cane, dancing, jumping up and down and saying Jeff, guess where I’m going!
And I said, Cambodia! Miraculously healed.

SID: You know, I’m reminded of that young man that was homeless in the car and that big fight that was going on, and God literally spoke to you and told you that he was fighting over your life at that point. But you were praying for a visitation from Jesus and you got it. Tell me what happened.

JEFF: Oh my gosh. For three years I prayed that Jesus would come into my room. I kept reading about it. He visited many people and I wanted to be one of those people. So for three years I prayed every day, all day, and he never came. So I have to honest and say that I got a little upset and said, you’re not coming. Well three months later he came to my room. And at five in the morning I woke up, it was January twelfth, 2005. At five in the morning I woke up and sat on the edge of my bed and coming out of my mouth supernaturally were the words, take courage and be of great faith. And I remember walking into the bathroom and looking into the mirror and seeing myself speak in such a fast tone that I remember looking and saying, Jeff, you’re weird. But as I went back and sat on my bed, a man walked by my doorway. And I remember thinking that there’s a man in my house. This is strange. So I walked out and looked down the hall and there he was. He had his back to me and I didn’t at that time know what was really going on, but I said hi. And when he turned around the magnitude was so intense that it threw me to the ground. And wearing Levis and a red shirt, hair about down to here, I looked up and the air in the room was snapping and crackling. And the molecules were spinning like they didn’t know what to do. And I felt like, I am so overwhelmed that I might not even be able to take another breath. At that time I was able to get up and he was gone, and I was able to move into my bedroom and I paced back and forth and I remember saying to myself, he’s here, he’s here. What do I do? And at that moment I realized that he was standing right behind me. And as I was turning to look at him he put his right hand on my right eye. I remember seeing his pinky and his third finger, and I fell. And at that moment, I don’t know how long I was out, but for quite some time.

SID: What difference has it been since this experience in your life?

JEFF: I am a completely different person.

SID: It’s as if the veil has been removed.

JEFF: Absolutely. Even my penmanship is different.

SID: I tell you what, I have asked Jeff and Theresa to play music to God that will go right through your television, right through the DVD and meet you at your greatest need. Jeff has changed. Theresa has changed. And you’re about ready to be changed. We’ll be right back.

SID: Hello. Sid Roth here with Craig Hill. What a title, Craig. “Two fleas and No Dog” transforms your marriage from fleadom to freedom. What are you talking about?

CRAIG: Well for years I threatened to write a book by the title, Sid. And the reason is I found so many people before they get married they’re like a flea. Now the flea is an animal that’s looking for a host animal like a dog it can life off of and just get all its needs met emotionally, physically and all kinds of ways. And I found that many, many people when they get married did not realize that when they married they actually were a flea. Because after they get married, they’re thinking, where’s the dog? Where’s that person that was so kind to me, so nice to me that I liked being with so much. And after they get married what happens is they find out the other person, the person they married actually they thought you were the dog. They thought you were the one that they were going to be drawing all the life from. And what’s actually happened is the people that have gotten married to, and this is true in many cases, we now have two fleas and no dog both trying to suck the life out of each other, and of course no fleas have any life.

SID: And for seven years that’s what happened in your marriage.

CRAIG: It really did happen in my marriage. I didn’t realize I was a flea, Sid, when I got married. You know what my experience of marriage was in the first seven years, I felt like Jan, my wife, was frequently unhappy with me. She was irritated with me. She was angry with me and I felt like I was just displeasing to her in so many ways. And I tried everything I knew to do to please her unsuccessfully. Couldn’t understand why.

SID: But then you understood supernatural communication and you found there are two levels of communication.

CRAIG: That was a breakthrough, huge breakthrough in our marriage when I discovered that there’s sort of a superficial level I’ve come to call the topical level of communication. And underneath all topical communication is what I call relational communication. Now topical are issues that we discuss in marriage, for example, where are we going to live? What cars are we going to drive? How are we going to discipline our children? Our sexual relationship. This is topical communication. But underneath all that is relational communication, which are messages we send to one another in the realm of identity regarding value, meaning without realizing it, we’re sending messages to other people all the time, you’re worthless or you’re valuable. And what I find happens in a marriage is without realizing it, husbands and wives are sending a message back and forth to each other, you’re valuable or you’re worthless, and they don’t realize it. They don’t know it.

SID: Well let’s take a look at this right now, a real life situation. Let’s go to that State Fair right now.

TOM: You want to play a game?

GIRL: Yeah!

TOM: Okay.
[phone ring]

TOM: Hello

SUE: Hey honey, how are you doing? I was just checking in.

TOM: I’m doing great. Emily, keep an eye on your sister.

SUE: Where are you?

TOM: The girls talked me into coming to the State Fair.

SUE: What?

TOM: The State Fair.

SUE: I heard you. Why would you do that?

TOM: The girls were begging me. It was nice out, so we came.

SUE: I wish you would just stick to a plan.

TOM: What plan?

SUE: We’ve been going to the State Fair as a family for over four years and, you know, you just would have thought that maybe you could have included me in on it.

TOM: Well how could we? I mean, you’re not even here. I mean, you’re away at your retreat.

SUE: What’s that suppose to mean?

TOM: It means I’m here watching the kids and you’re off with your girlfriends.

SUE: My girlfriends? You volunteered to do this.

TOM: Yes, so you could go away on your whatever weekend.

SUE: Tom, why the State Fair? I mean, when I’m out of town for the weekend you would think for once you could think about somebody other than yourself.

TOM: Look, I didn’t even want to come.

SUE: Oh yeah right.

TOM: I wanted to stay home and watch the football game with the guys, but I’m here. I was just thinking of the girls.
SUE: Yeah right, but you weren’t thinking of me, were you?

TOM: I would have thought you’d be happy I wanted to spend more time with them. Instead you’re criticizing me just like you always do.

SUE: I do not always criticize you.

GIRL: Come on, Daddy, let’s go to the Ferris wheel.

SUE: Tom.

TOM: I gotta go.

SUE: Tom?

FEMALE: Hey Sue, are you coming?

SUE: Yeah, I’m coming.

TOM: Come on, girls.

SID: Now that is supernatural miscommunication. Let’s see what’s going to happen if it’s done right.

MALE: Guess the number, win a prize! Guess the number, win a prize!
[phone ring]

TOM: Hello.

SUE: Hey honey, how are you doing? I was just checking in.

TOM: Doing great. Emily, keep an eye on your sister.

SUE: Hey, where are you?

TOM: The girls talked me into coming to the State Fair.

SUE: What?

TOM: The State Fair.

SUE: I heard you. Why would you do that?

TOM: The girls were begging me. It was nice out, so we came.

SUE: I wish you would just stick to a plan.

TOM: Are you upset?

SUE: Yeah, I’m upset. I mean, we’ve been going to the State Fair as a family for over four years and you just could have thought of me.

TOM: Sorry honey. I didn’t realize how much it meant to you.

SUE: Well it’s just that you picked the weekend I was away.

TOM: You’re absolutely right, honey. I’m really sorry. It wasn’t that I wasn’t thinking about you. I love you. You know I enjoy doing things with you and the family, right?

SUE: Yeah, I know. I guess I just, you’re there with the girls and I just felt like you didn’t want
me there.

TOM: I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to hurt your feelings. We had so much fun last year I knew it would be a hit. Truth is, it’s just not as much fun without you here.

SUE: Yeah, we did have a lot of fun. I just wish I was there with you and the girls.

TOM: Me, too. Hey listen, I heard that this new ice skating, ice princess show was coming into town?

SUE: Really?

TOM: Yeah. Why don’t we all go as a family.

SUE: Tom.

TOM: Yeah?

SUE: You really are a great dad.

GIRL1: Come on, Daddy, let’s go to the Ferris wheel.
GIRL2: Yeah, come on!

TOM: Okay. Hey, I gotta go. I love you.

SUE: I love you, too, honey. Bye.

TOM: Okay girls, let’s go.

GIRL: Yeah!

FEMALE: Hey Sue, are you coming?

SUE: Oh yeah, I’ll be right there.

SID: Now I like that. I like happy endings. And that’s the way it’s supposed to be. But my guest, Craig Hill, says when you’re involved in these type of relationships, it was relation not topical. There was even a better way to handle.

CRAIG: Yeah, you know, what I found, Sid, is that everybody wants to be made to feel valuable. Husband wants to be valuable. Wife wants to be valuable. Here’s the problem. The problem is I don’t know and didn’t know for seven years what would make my wife feel valuable. She didn’t know what would make me feel valuable. So we did the wrong thing and stumbled into situations like that all the time. This poor man is just trying to take his girls to the State Fair and yet finds his wife accusing him. Why? He sent her a message, you have no value, and didn’t know he sent her that message. Now I believe there is something supernatural behind that that promotes that kind of thing where people don’t realize it. And then she sent him back a message, you’re worthless, you have no value, and she didn’t know she was doing that. And so what does make a woman feel valuable? Those are the supernatural keys that I found that I wrote in the book. What makes a woman feel valuable? What makes a man feel valuable and is it possible for us to convey those things on a relational level which changes everything.

SID: And the thing that I saw in that is that if that ending hadn’t changed that couple was headed towards divorce. Don’t go away. We’re about ready to see some keys to supernatural communication. Be right back.

CALEB: Did you make any dinner at all?

FEMALE1: I assumed you were eating with Michael.

CALEB: Does it not occur to you that there are two people living in this house and both of them need to eat?

FEMALE1: You know what, Caleb? If you would communicate with me, maybe I can have something for you. You care more about saving for your stupid gun and pleasing yourself than you ever did about me.

CALEB: Shut up! I’m sick of you! You disrespectful, ungrateful, selfish woman! How dare you say that to me! You constantly nag me and you blame the life out of me! I’m tired of it. If you can’t give me the respect I deserve, look at me, then what’s the point of this marriage!

FEMALE2: Make him respect you. If there’s one thing a man understands–

CALEB: It’s respect. That’s the issue. That’s the reason our marriage is failing. She shows me no respect at all. I don’t understand her. She’s emotional about everything. She’s easily offended and way too sensitive.

FEMALE1: [crying] He’s so insensitive. He doesn’t truly care how I feel. He doesn’t listen to me, even if I say it over and over, and over again.

CALEB: And then starts nagging me and saying I don’t listen to her or something like that. It drives me crazy. I feel like I’m going–

FEMALE1: Insane. You know, he doesn’t understand my needs. I feel like we are completely and totally–

CALEB: Incompatible. She’s probably whining to her friends making me sound like a criminal. I can see them all right now, crying and having some sort of group hug.

FEMALE2: It’s gonna be okay, sweetie. It’s gonna be all right.

FEMALE3: You’ll get through this.

FEMALE4: Whatever you need.

SID: Hello. Sid Roth here. Welcome to my world where it’s naturally supernatural. That was an excerpt from the movie, “Fireproofed”. Did you recognize something there? I believe there is supernatural help to miscommunicate. And there is also supernatural help to communicate, not just in marriages, in all of life. There is someone egging you on to divide relationships. And my guest, Craig Hill, has uncovered what I believe to be biblical supernatural keys for supernatural relationships. Now Craig, I find it fascinating and almost outrageous that one out of two marriages end up in divorce, and that’s true among those that are Christians and non-Christians alike. It shouldn’t happen with Christians.

CRAIG: No, that’s absolutely right. You would think that we would understand something, or people that have a relationship with God would access the supernatural power of God and would learn the things that would cause their marriages not to break up. But as you said, Sid, that frequently is not true. And many times without that understanding and that knowledge people live just like people who have no relationship with God and their marriages are destroyed as well.

SID: And the thing that’s so overwhelming to me is your marriage, I mean, I know your background. I know your wife’s background. And you went through seven years of turmoil until these keys were revealed to you. But I want to take you back to 1975. You’re a nice young pilot.

CRAIG: Right.

SID: And you ran into what almost cost you your life. Tell me about it.

CRAIG: That was true. I was flying for a living out of Grand Rapids, Michigan, flying the mail at night. And one night on our way back from Chicago across Lake Michigan back to Grand Rapids, the air traffic control called us and said. “It’s getting really foggy in Michigan. We suggest you turn back to Chicago.” Well being young and sort of arrogant, you know, the other pilot and I decided not to, and we decided, no, we can be beat the fog in. And to make a long story short, we made two instrument approaches at Grand Rapids and it was too foggy for us to land, and we saw runway, no lights, nothing. So we went to Lansing, shot two approaches there and missed them both again, no visibility there. And, you know, the thing that happened is the low fuel red lights came on in Grand Rapids and I knew we were in trouble.

SID: Now when you’re driving a car and that happens that’s bad. When you’re up in the air, oy vey.

CRAIG: That’s exactly right. So after Lansing, you know, we had used up a huge amount of fuel trying to make these instrument approaches. We were really low. We said, “What else is opened?” They said Detroit. So we blasted over to Detroit and we were the second to the last airplane to land with just minutes of fuel left. And so that was sort of a harrowing experience. I was praying all the way, you now, “Oh God save my life.”

SID: But with just minutes of fuel it could have gone the other way.
CRAIG: Well that’s exactly right, yeah. We could have ended up not making it and ended up running out of fuel.

SID: But briefly, explain what was going on in the invisible world.

CRAIG: In the invisible world what I found out about six or seven months later, Sid, was really an amazing thing. I met a young woman in Europe who had been at a mission school in Germany at the same that this event was taking place. Every morning their habit was to get up and in a small group pray, not just their shopping list of things they wanted to pray, but they would ask God, “What is on your heart today, Father?” And then they would pray those various things. One day the group, they had a list everyday of things that they felt like the Spirit of God was giving them, and one day one thing on the list was “airplane”. They didn’t know what to pray for exactly, so they began asking. And the group of them together got pieces like a puzzle. And one person said, “Well the airplane we’re to pray for is fast like you United, but it’s small.” Someone else said, “I see two people on board and that’s all, just the crew, and one is older, one is young. They’re wearing light blue jumpsuits, they’re flight suits, and they’re carrying the U.S. mail.” Somebody else said, “I see a map like the Great Lakes area of the United States.” And these people were in Germany when they were praying. And they said. “The problem is this airplane is having difficulty finding a place to land. We need to pray for the safety of the crew and a place to land.” So they had all these details. Well about in July of that year, I met this young woman on this team and I began to recognize that God was doing something between us and that she might end up being my wife. So as time progressed I was telling her all the harrowing stories and experiences of my life. I began to tell her this one. And as I shared these details she said, “We prayed for you.” I said, “What do you mean you prayed for me?” And she said, “Were you both wearing light blue one-piece flight suits?” I said, “Yeah.” She said, “Was the other pilot quite a bit older than you?” I said, “Yeah.” She said, “We prayed for you.” And she told me what was happening is that at the very time that we were having the problem at about four in the morning in Michigan, they were, at nine in the morning over in Germany, praying these prayers and releasing something in the supernatural. I believe, Sid, had my wife not prayed with that small group we well could have died.

SID: And of course, at that time she wasn’t his wife. But she had a prophetic word at that time. What did someone tell her?

CRAIG: There was another young woman in the group that came up to her after this prayer time and said to her, “Jan, you know that airplane we prayed for this morning? I believe that has something to do with you, maybe a relative or somebody you know. And Jan was thinking, “I don’t know anybody who flies. I don’t know who, well I have a cousin, you know, who’s on an aircraft carrier.”

SID: Of course it had something to do with her because they ended up getting married. She described exactly at the exact time she was praying for the man that would be her husband. You would think they would have a marriage made in heaven, but they had seven years of the type of turmoil that many of you have had. And it’s about time that you have supernatural help to have a marriage made in Heaven and relationships that are pleasing to God. You see, the Messiah said, “This is my commandment that you love one another.” And there’s someone trying to disrupt that so you can’t accomplish your destiny. Don’t go away. You’re going to find out some tremendous supernatural keys to supernatural relationships. Be right back.

SID: Hello. Sid Roth here with Craig Hill. Most people are being set up for disaster in their relationships. There is supernatural help to destroy, whether it’s a husband and wife, whether it’s a mother and their daughter, or a father and a son, or just at work, there’s supernatural help to destroy relationships. Now Craig, you saw a movie on the American Revolution, which literally gave you insight into what’s going on in these relationships.

CRAIG: Right. What I began to see, Sid, like we were saying earlier, after seven years of marriage where I was struggling, didn’t know what to do, and I saw a movie, and I began to get an insight. Now what it was, it depicted the British, you know, marching up the road to Concord and Lexington, and here came the American militia out to meet them. And I saw two rows of soldiers, you know, standing, facing each other with their weapons loaded and the two generals talking in between. Unbeknownst to anybody, hiding over here in the bushes behind a little wall was an arms dealer. And this man didn’t care about the British. He didn’t care about the Americans. He just wanted to start a war so he could sell arms to both sides. So while no one was looking, he shot and killed the second in command British officer who fell over dead, and immediately the British general, of course, assumed the American colonists had done that, terminated negotiations and issued the command that his men, “Fire!”, which they did. The American general then, of course, issued a command to his me, “Return fire!” which they did and the war was on. We call that “the shot heard around the world” because it was the shot that started the Revolution. Now I don’t know if the movie was historically accurate. But the part I got out of it is when I saw that, God spoke to me and said, “That is exactly what’s happening in your marriage all the time. A war is being started and neither of you are starting it.” And I discovered as I’ve talked to many couples through the years if I ask a husband, for example, in the clip we saw in the very beginning, “Was it your intention to start this war?” He would say, “Absolutely not. I don’t like it. It’s very unpleasant.” You say to the wife, “Was it your intention to start this war?” “Absolutely not. I didn’t plan it.” And what people are not realizing is there really are demonic forces in the unseen realm that are working to destroy relationships through miscommunication. And the strategy is simply this. What if there is an arms dealer, so to speak, in the supernatural realm that I can’t see who uses me to speak to my wife a relational message that says, “You’re worthless, I don’t love you. You mean nothing to me,” and I’m blind to it. I don’t see it. I don’t know it. How can I repent? Repent of what? I’ve done nothing wrong from my perspective.

SID: So you’re saying this arms dealer in this movie is a type of the devil.

CRAIG: Exactly. There’s a type of the devil in demonic forces in the unseen realm whose purpose is to destroy relationships. You know an interesting thing, Sid, no man, no woman individually looked like God, but the Bible says a relationship between a man and woman in marriage looks like God, and the devil hates anything that looks like God, and I think works overtime to destroy marriage through this strategy of miscommunication.

SID: Okay. What are husbands looking for in a marital relationship?

CRAIG: Well this was the key I discovered. Husbands want respect. The problem is a wife doesn’t know what respect means. So I discovered respect to most husbands means three things: I want to be accepted, I want to be admired, and I want to be appreciated. What I found is so many husbands are working hard, especially in our present times in this environment, to try to make ends meet, and they’re looking for one word from a wife: Thank you. That’s what we saw in the “Fireproofed” clip. And what happens, a wife doesn’t know that. She doesn’t realize that because what she’s looking for is sort of an opposite thing. What makes a wife feel valuable is love, the Bible tells us. And the problem we have as husbands, we don’t know what love means in our wife’s mind, in her idea. So I found love to a woman means these three things: She wants to feel high priority, she wants me to care about her feelings, and when I hurt her, she wants me to acknowledge it, take responsibility for it and repent, and ask forgiveness.

SID: Tell me about that couple from Wisconsin, very briefly, that studied these principles and what happened to them.

CRAIG: There was a couple I ran into that had actually been divorced for some years, living in separate cities, who came to a conference we were doing, a covenant marriage retreat, actually. And I don’t know how they got there. Somebody convinced them to come. They came in separate cars from separate locations, sat literally in separate places in the meeting, not even with each other. And over the course of about three days as they discovered these principles and as God began to work supernaturally in their hearts, they were restored in such a way that they learned how to convey love and respect, or value to each so much so that they fell in love with each other again and said, “We don’t want to be divorced or separated. We want to be remarried.” And they were remarried to each other.

SID: Is there any problem between a husband and wife that know the Lord that cannot be solved by these supernatural principles?

CRAIG: There really is not. What we found–

SID: Hey, did you hear that? There really is not.

CRAIG: It’s true.

SID: So don’t give up. And young people, if they can get a hold of these principles it’s time to have supernatural relationships with a supernatural God, Jesus.

SID: Welcome to my world, where it’s naturally supernatural. Now you see a lot of infomercials these days on losing weight, and don’t get rid of this channel because I’m going to be talking about it. I’m not talking about the natural ability to lose weight, I’m talking about a supernatural ability. Could you imagine, a young Jewish man speaks, and people in the audience supernaturally lose weight, several dress sizes – the dresses are hanging on them – during the meeting? You’ve never seen weight loss like this before. Let’s take a look at a clip.

DAVID: What is happening to you?

WOMAN: I’m shrinking! (laughs)

DAVID: You’re losing weight instantly?

WOMAN: I’m disappearing!

DAVID: Right here in Jerusalem? What is happening?

WOMAN: I’m getting smaller. (laughs) I think these are going to fall down.

DAVID: So if you don’t hold your pants up, do you think they’re going to fall?

WOMAN: (laughs) Definitely.

DAVID: How much do you think you’ve lost, as far as dress sizes?

WOMAN: I don’t know, but (laughs) easy… Oh, thank You, Lord. (laughs)

DAVID: Now that’s awesome. Weight loss.

WOMAN: There’s weight loss.

DAVID: How many, this is the first time you’ve seen instant weight loss in your life? So what it means is there’s a newer glory than you’ve known before, so there’s newer miracles. New glory, new miracles. Old glory, same. Now others of you, I would check your waist, because others of you might get it as she’s testifying.

DAVID: Look at that, she’s just…

WOMAN: Look at this! This is wild! Look at this!

DAVID: I think you’re losing more right now! You’re shrinking right now. You’re shrinking.

WOMAN: I can’t believe it! This is wild! This is wild! Look at this!

DAVID: Have you ever seen that before? Have you ever seen weight loss like that? Have you ever seen that before?

WOMAN: Look at this! These were tight, I hardly could get in them, and I thought “Well, I’ll suck it in, you know, to get here.” Look at this, this is…

SID: Listen, you would’ve been as excited as her if that’d happened to you. David, you told me that you always pondered a question, and you knew if you could answer this question, you would see miracles such as the one we just saw. But by the way, is it true that even gemstones, diamonds, precious stones, materialize at your meetings?

DAVID: We’ve seen some, yes. Everything in heaven can come on the earth at any time the glory is present.

SID: Show me one. You brought one for us.

DAVID: Yeah, I’ve got one here. My daughter actually prayed and found this one. She was asking God one night for a gift from heaven, and this appeared. It’s a purple gemstone, and her favorite color is purple. My daughter…

SID: It’s like a… It’s not just a gemstone, it’s cut. It looks perfect to me.

DAVID: Yeah, it is.

SID: It came that way?

DAVID: It came just like this.

SID: How did it happen? Where was it?

DAVID: Well, we were in Phoenix in a meeting, and my daughter that night was asking God for a miracle, because she had seen some signs and wonders. She’s only 7, and she said “God, I know You can give me a miracle or something from heaven.” And she kept asking and looking, and asked people to pray. And she was very sad at the end of the meeting, even began crying. She said “I know that God told me He was going to give me something special tonight.” And at the end of the meeting, right as we were about to walk out, she looked down, and there was this purple gemstone right on the floor. And her favorite color is purple, and only we and she know that.

SID: What about diamonds?

DAVID: Yeah, we’ve seen diamonds too.

SID: And has any professional looked at these diamonds?

DAVID: Yeah, people have looked at them, and a lot of the times with the diamonds, they say, or the gemstones, they say they’re perfect. Almost too perfect to be a diamond or a gemstone, but too heavy to be fake.

SID: Alright, as a young man you had a question. You felt if you could get the answer to this question, then you could move into this invisible realm, and that is, the question was, how did God create this whole world – everything we see – from nothing?

DAVID: Exactly. I was taught everything was created from nothing, but actually it says in Hebrews God created things visible out of things invisible, real things. I thought it was nothing, it was things He used to create things. And I found out there’s two invisible ingredients that He used that are real things. It’s the glory, or the presence, or the Spirit of God; Genesis 1, was hovering, and number two, it’s sound or sound waves. God spoke, everything was created. And now scientists are confirming that everything created on the earth has not a proton or a neutron as the smallest particle known to man, but inside a proton and neutron is a sound wave. Everything has sound embedded into it, and that sound wave has the ability to hear and respond to sound and to the glory.

SID: So if I’m getting this straight, God didn’t create everything we see from nothing, He created it from something, and the something was the presence of God by God’s Holy Spirit, we call Him the Ruach Ha Kodesh, and sound?

DAVID: Sound. They’re both real ingredients that science knows today are real. You can sing at a high pitch and break a glass.

SID: Sure, an opera singer.

DAVID: So it’s a real object, it’s just invisible to the naked eye. And even the presence of God is real. Just like there’s germs or microbes in this room maybe, we can’t see, but they’re real. So when the two come together on an object, it can even recreate the object. Jesus turned the water to wine, commanded the wind and waves, it obeyed Him. So the whole creation is alive with the presence and sound, and can respond to the glory and sound.

SID: Ok. You have a whole book on this subject, and you talk about a man by the name of John G. Lake. Tell me that story.

DAVID: John G. Lake was awesome. He was a missionary in South Africa, and he was
very much into science before he was a minister, and he did an experiment. People were dying of a plague in South Africa. Everyone was dying, and they had gloves and equipment to protect themselves, and shots. And he was out bare-handed praying for the sick, and he could’ve died of the virus. And they said to him “How come you’re not dying?”

SID: I think it was bubonic plague.

DAVID: Yeah, bubonic plague. And they said “Why aren’t you dying?” He said “Because I’ve got the power of God in me. Show me the virus under the microscope, and look and see what happens when I lay hands on it.” So under the microscope they could see the virus, and they see his hand touching it and destroying the virus by the power of God. So under a microscope, invisible things, actually you can see what’s happening behind the scenes.

SID: How would you like to walk in that type of trust of God? It’s not religion, it’s trust in God. Don’t go away, you’re going to find out how. It’s cool.

SID: I am so glad that you are here, do you know why? There is going to be a demonstration of the miraculous, I’m Sid Roth here with Joan Hunter, now Joan we were talking about angelic visitation, it seems to be increasing at your meetings.

JOAN: It is.

SID: How about your healings, are they increasing?

JOAN: Yes, it is absolutely phenomenal the testimonies that are coming in and what happens is as I’m looking out over the congregation I can see God’s healing angels that have come to the services, I have not been able to see them before, but with it they are bringing, it’s like they are bringing parts, like new hearts, new lungs, new pancreas, things like that, and I see them kind of hovering over the congregation and as their wings, cause not all angels have wings, but some angels do, and beautiful, white majestic wings and they are flapping like this over the congregation and bringing, and stirring up his healing power and it just goes throughout the congregation whether I lay hands on them or not, or in the congregation, people are getting healed the majority of time without me even laying hands on them. And it just, and it just, and you can just feel it here.

SID: That’s what I was going to say, I’m getting stirred up right here.

JOAN: And you can, and you can feel His presence.

SID: And you know what is so exciting Joan, and I love it because you tell people that you are not a special person you just serve a special God and that everyone can serve that special God and operate in the same miraculous power that you do.

JOAN: According to the word of God, it says believers are going to lay hands on the sick and see them recover, it doesn’t say just Joan, or Charles and Francis, you know, or Oral Roberts or whoever, it says believers, and we as believers can lay hands on the sick and see them recover.

SID: Tell me, I like one specific case one person that was healed, I keep hearing this, someone’s neck has been healed, and back has been healed, and if you will stand up and walk your hip has been healed, your leg, anything you need in the leg area, ankle, your toe is broken, anything you need, varicose veins, you name it, you are healed in the leg area, I am so excited because it is a transferable thing, you have a gift of simplistic teaching.

JOAN: And make it simple.

SID: What is wrong with people physically, and by the way, that kind of used to bother me about you, you would make statements like it’s so easy.

JOAN: I know a lot of pastors that don’t like that, they go, “I had to go to school to learn how hard it was to heal the sick.” And I’m “No, go to the Bible, it’s easy.”

SID: I had the privilege of knowing Kathryn Kulman, and

JOAN: Me too.

SID: Kathryn Kulman used to say, oh arthritis, that’s simple to be healed of, and doctors would go to her and say don’t you know there is no cure for arthritis? No, it’s easy, that’s what you say about all diseases.

JOAN: Right, it is and when Jesus left the earth he says, in Mark, he says believers are going to lay hands on the sick, he says guys, I’m getting ready to go, I have already died, resurrected, I’m gong to go be with my Father, but I am leaving with you my authority and my name to use it for God’s glory.

SID: Give me one example, a specific person that was physically healed.

JOAN: I could give you hundreds and you know that, thousands literally.

SID: Of course, I want one though.

JOAN: I prayed for a lady and I said in the Name of Jesus, she was on the lung transplant list, I said in the Name of Jesus I speak two new lungs in, in Jesus Name, that’s what I prayed, it wasn’t a three minute prayer, it wasn’t a fifty minute prayer, it was in Jesus Name, I speak new lungs in.

SID: I’ve watched you; everything you do is simple.

JOAN: Yeah.

SID: Why is it so simple?

JOAN: Because I can’t do anything that is hard, it’s a good thing he made it simple, I know I walk in the authority of Jesus Christ, I know that I can lay hands on the sick.

SID: Was this woman totally healed?

JOAN: she got a lung transplant that night, she didn’t have to have it surgically done, God, and she got taken off the lung transplant list.

SID: You know Joan I have interviewed people that have died and gone to heaven and they have, several of them have told me they have witnessed what they call a parts room where different body parts, and the sadness was they were available for people on earth but they didn’t understand how to receive them.

JOAN: the angels, you know that I mentioned just a few minutes ago they came with like, a quiver, and instead of arrows that they would pull out, they would pull out a body part and this person would get it in the service. They would go in and pull out another body part and this one would get a new pancreas, they would go in and you could see them going into their backpack so to speak or their quiver, and then bringing and then placing the body parts in the people at the services.

SID: I heard you, you said what about me, that’s wonderful in those people that Joan is talking about, but you said what about me. Joan, talk to those people right now that need to be healed, need body parts.

JOAN: Where ever you are, God is sending new body parts your way, whether it’s a new thyroid, new pancreas, new lungs, whatever, as the anointing has just risen to a high level here in the studio, it’s going right through the television waves right now into your home, I want you to expect God to heal you, not because of how good you are, or what you’ve done, you’ve been praying, you’ve been fasting, no, because of his grace, and that He loves you. And Father right now in the Name of Jesus we stand in agreement touching and praying a prayer of agreement that your power is going through this television camera right now into the homes, into the bodies, in Jesus Name. There is somebody with brain cancer and a tumor in your head, in Jesus Name that is cursed and command it to be gone in Jesus name, I speak health and wholeness. I speak a whole new heart in Jesus Name, I speak a new esophagus, new pancreas’s for all that diabetes, it is cursed in Jesus Name, there is people that need knee replacements, in Jesus Name you are getting your knee replacement today in Jesus Name, I speak a new cartilage, I curse arthritis in Jesus Name; I command it to be gone and I see here comes the angel getting out new rotator cuffs in Jesus Name those rotator cuffs are being delivered to you right now in Jesus Name, new elbows, I curse any inflammation in your body in Jesus Name, there are sciatic nerves that have been pinched that you just wish you could die because the pain is so intense, in Jesus Name that sciatic nerve is being released in Jesus Name. Father we speak new spines from the top of their head to their tailbone in Jesus Name, people that have had problems with your tailbone in Jesus Name I command that tailbone to go into position in Jesus Name, and just to reiterate what Sid said, new hips, new pelvic areas in Jesus Name, hip replacements, you need to have surgery and have your hip replaced in Jesus Name, Father those hips are being replaced now in Jesus Name, that headache is gone in Jesus Name, the deafness, I command deafness to leave in Jesus Name some of you may only be hearing what I’m saying because you can’t see us on the television, in Jesus Name I speak life to those eyes I speak sight to be restored in Jesus Name, I speak a new, a new stomach, there is stomach cancer, in Jesus Name new intestines in Jesus Name, I command just health and wholeness, Father in Jesus Name the curse of poverty is broken because you want us healthy in every area, in our finances, Father in Jesus Name I speak health and wholeness through any kind of disease, Father I thank you for blood transfusions for AIDS and HIV are concerned, and hepatitis C which is knows as “hep C” hepatitis C, hepatitis B, in Jesus Name, new kidneys, new kidneys are coming out and going right into your, where ever you are watching this, on the internet, in your office or in your home, it is going right into you and right into your bodies right now in Jesus Name, I course the sinus infection in Jesus Name and those allergies are commanded to go in Jesus Name, and teeth, there is somebody that’s got rotten teeth in your mouth, in Jesus Name I speak a whole mouth of teeth, healthy strong teeth in Jesus Name, in Jesus Name. Father we just thank you for your glory.

SID: And bladder cancer, it’s gone.

JOAN: Yes, new bladders.

SID: It’s gone in Jesus Name, taste and see that the Lord is good in Jesus Name praying,
he’s the one, he’s the one healing it right now.

JOAN: Yes, amen.

SID: X-ray vision, my guest Joan Hunter prays for the sick but there is a new development, all of a sudden as you’ve started praying for people you see things, explain what you mean.

JOAN: Well the other day this guy came to me and I was in England and I was praying and he said every time I eat, I can’t breathe, I can’t eat or breathe, well obviously you need to do both, but he would eat and as soon as he would eat it would, it would, you know, it would block off all breathing, and he has had esophagi’s and you know everything from

SID: That’s a problem if you can’t eat or breath, you have to choose one of the other.

JOAN: Right, choose one or the other, yes I think it would be breathing and believe God for the rest. And, but what happened is the doctors had gone in and nobody could find anything that was wrong with him, and God, and I was praying for him and normally I pray for the person looking in their eyes and so forth, and all of a sudden I started looking down and I could see like an x-ray vision of his esophagus, and then, as if he were eating swallowing and then I could see the food go down and as the food would go down it would bulge, and then that is where the lung would be, and so he would eat and it would bulge and get stuck and so he couldn’t breathe. So I said Father in the Name of Jesus I speak a whole new esophagus in him in Jesus Name. And that was on Saturday, Sunday morning he had already had a good nights sleep, had eaten, Sunday afternoon he ate, came back Sunday night, the pain instantly left when I prayed and he has been eating regularly ever since and not a problem at all and God gave him a whole new esophagus.

SID: Speaking about a new esophagus, in addition to having this new phenomena of x-ray vision, I love it, she has had a lot of angels show up at her meetings, tell me, in fact you told me about a meeting that your parents had where there was this very tall strange person, wherever he went people were being healed, tell me about that.

JOAN: That was overseas, and we had, it was a very, very tall dark man, very good looking, very nicely dressed, and we were in Bogotá, I remember the man, I remember the man, and he was going through the wheelchair section and laying hands on all of them in the wheelchair and he would lay hands, they would get up and go to the platform and give testimony, then he would lay hands on the next one and they would get up and give testimony.

SID: You mean totally healed.

JOAN: Totally completely healed, I mean totally crippled, out of the wheelchair and then up on the platform giving testimony, it was very exciting, we said we want to meet this man and you know we didn’t know who he was and all the leaders of the church, none of the pastors had any clue who he was and so we thought well, we’ll get out the videos, and we went through all the videos and he is not on the videos, totally not on the videos, even
panning while they were, it was like they were there and they were just getting up out of the wheelchairs and nobody was touching them, totally angelic.
SID: I’ll tell you what, if that angel is listening, you can show up any time you want, but Joan…

JOAN: You’re welcome at all my services, that’s for sure.

SID: Angels are showing up at your meetings, tell me about that.

JOAN: It is very exciting, the first time that I had a supernatural experience like that it was the glory cloud came in, and I’m up there and I’m ministering on…

SID: Now when you say the glory cloud came in, for those that don’t know.

JOAN: I’ll explain that to you as I go cause I’m sitting up there and I’m ministering and I like to look out at the people and I’m kind of blinking my eyes, I thought man there’s a fog in my eyes, I can’t see the people, that’s how ignorant I was at the time, and, but what happened it was just the Holy Ghost cloud like a fog that had just settled on the people and just came down and people just started getting healed as that cloud, and it was a physical cloud that the majority of the people could actually see, but you couldn’t see through it.

SID: So it wasn’t just you seeing it?

JOAN: No, they were going look at the glory cloud, look, and people were looking up and it was just like the fog coming in on the people.

SID: I’ve seen that once before myself and I was inside of a building like you were, I assume it was in a building, and so there was only one explanation, a smoke machine you know someone was…

JOAN: In the natural, right.

SID: But there wasn’t any.

JOAN: No smoke machine there, it was out in the middle of nowhere Texas.

SID: In fact, you show me a smoke machine that causes people to be physically healed. Joan, I believe we are so close to that glory, the glory is the manifest presence of God, in the Old Covenant it would come into the temple to such a point that the priest could not stand up, the Jewish priests couldn’t even, at one point couldn’t even enter because this glory, the Hebrew word is “kabod” and it means “a heaviness” I want you to see a meeting where some angels showed up and miracles broke out, we’ll go to that right now, don’t go away.

SID: Welcome to my world where it is naturally supernatural, Sid Roth here with Joan Hunter. I was talking to my granddaughter several months ago and I said, “Olivia, how would you like to go with me on a trip where you are going to see blind people get their eyesight right before you very eyes, deaf people hear, people in wheelchairs get up and walk?” She said, “Oh I would love to do that.” Well, my guest had such an encounter, a preparation if you will, for thirty years she was a servant to her parents, they are affectionately known as, “The Happy Hunters”. And Charles and Francis Hunter have had healing explosions, one that I would love to bring my granddaughter to all over the world, so for thirty years in effect, you sat under a presence of God, you saw, give me an example of some of the more outstanding miracles you saw in your parents ministry.

JOAN: Well we’ve you know of course traveling the world you can, there is magnitudes like in overseas in Colombia and so forth when we did the healing explosions and people were just sending their, they couldn’t get up to the front to give testimony but they were sending their wheelchair up because they didn’t need them anymore. And over fifty thousand people and then wheelchairs, hundreds, hundreds of wheelchairs were coming up that people didn’t need them anymore.

SID: That’s what I want my granddaughter to see, hey guess what, that’s what I want to see, guess what, that’s what you want to see, that’s why you are watching right now, what else, give me one more.

JOAN: And this is obviously several years ago, because Mom and Dad really don’t travel anymore, but a lady came up with a tumor, a very, very large tumor, and they prayed, and she had like a, an over-blouse on, and the tumor went whish, and you could see the little flakes on the ground, what was the tumor.

SID: But you know what, what we are describing should not shock you, this is normal, what you have been seeing is abnormal, Joan you have seen the normal for thirty years, but you went through, well psychiatrists say if ten things happen to you in a year, you will be dead.

JOAN: Right.

SID: Nine of those ten things happened to you but the most devastating, you were married to a pastor and you founded.

JOAN: Yes, we co-pastored eighteen years.

SID: Eighteen, and she found out that he was homosexual, she loved him, wanted the marriage to be, but he didn’t want to change his lifestyle. And shortly after you got your divorce…

JOAN: Two days later.

SID: A major problem developed in your body. What happened?

JOAN: Yes, and that was being diagnosed with breast cancer and they found a lump on my left breast and several different things and so forth, and it wasn’t good, you know here you are so emotionally drained from having to divorce a man that at that time I still loved, and knowing that there was no help for me financially, medically, emotionally, spiritually, and all of a sudden you are you know, diagnosed with breast cancer, it is like, do I have a reason to live.

SID: And yet you had seen all of those miracles, so what happened.

JOAN: Well I, a lot of things happened, number one, God took care of me financially, doctors said I’d never survive emotionally, I would never get over it, and I refused to give the doctors, the devil or him anymore time of my life and…

SID: What was their prognosis for you?

JOAN: five to seven years, I’d probably never get over it and they wanted to institutionalize me. Now the reason they wanted to put me in an institution for twenty-four hour care for over a month is because nobody could survive what I was going through, and they knew I couldn’t survive, they figured I would probably become suicidal you know and so forth because financial ruins can ruin anybody, divorce can devastate anybody, breast cancer can destroy anybody, unbelievable co-dependency, I mean to leave your home that you have had for eighteen years and start over with nothing, and you have got, you know, four girls, two dogs and five fish that you have to find a home for, not to mention yourself.

SID: Okay, so you had the biopsy, you get the death sentence…

JOAN: Right.

SID: And you go back to the doctor for, I guess

JOAN: More biopsies, etc., and I could have allowed that to make me bitter, angry, horrible bitter person, but instead I allowed God to use that to make me stronger. I examined my heart and I said God if there is any unforgiveness toward him or anybody, I don’t want it in my heart, I choose to forgive them, what he did is still wrong, but I had to forgive him so it didn’t kill me. Andy bitterness, anger, you know and stress of what am I going to do for finances, what am I going to do, what am I going to do about my children, I’ve got three girls in college, and bla, bla, bla, bla, bla. And I just said God, I can’t meet my financial needs, I give it to you. And in the process of forgiving, laying down the bitterness, the disappointment, the co-dependency, the finances, giving it to God, God turned my whole life around, and I said God I can’t heal me of cancer, but I know you can, and the next time I went in everything was gone, including the scars from the biopsy.

SID: So what did the doctors say when it was all gone; I mean what are they going to do, they can’t do a mastectomy?

JOAN: No, because it is just not there, and they said we don’t understand your name matches, your social security number matches, but the mammogram and the sonograms do not match.

SID: Listen, when someone is so broken as Joan was, has seen the miracle power of God in others, seen the miracle power of God in herself, she moves with such extraordinary compassion it is almost like the power of Jesus moved in, it is the power of Jesus moved in, let’s take a look at a miracle, be right back after this.

How far can you bend over until it hurts?

If you were to bend over how far could you bend?
Just kind of show everybody, not me.
I don’t want to get her in pain,

Father, right now in the Name of Jesus I command
pain to go, to line up with every vertebrae in this
back in Jesus Name, I command that leg to grow and go into
position, I speak new vertebrae’s in this back in
Jesus Name, I command the curvature in the spin to be
restored to the proper path in Jesus name, I command the discs
that are protruding and bulging, I command them to be
restored and brand new in Jesus Name and I command
every bit of the pain to go and that leg to grow in

SID: Hello, Sid Roth here with Theresa Griffith Hurlbert, Theresa when you do your concerts and you play your flute over someone, first of all they select from your twelve different instruments – which one – and I told you I selected that one, but you knew I selected that one before I told you I selected that one, it has a beautiful sound, I have never seen this before, what is it called?

THERESA: This is a double pennywhistle and on one of my trips to Ireland I introduced it thinking they would think it was old hat and they had never seen it, so it must be a little rare, I would say.

SID: And what normally happens, what are you doing when you are playing the instrument over someone, what is occurring?

THERESA: Well, after I have demonstrated each instrument the people in the audience, their heart will leap at a certain sound, a certain instrument, and then when they come up I will look at them and I can prophetically tell usually which instrument they are going to pick, and I will begin to get a message about them even as they are walking up. And so I had been getting a message about you, in fact I didn’t sleep much last night because I got a song for you that just was ringing in my ear all night long, and so I’m like bursting like a pregnant woman waiting to deliver this message.

SID: Oh well, I don’t want to hold anything up. Hey what is going to happen to me, I’m just teasing, I set myself up, would you play that over me now.

THERESA: Oh yes.

SID: It has such a beautiful sound.

THERESA: Oh yeah, it is one of my favorites, in fact each instrument has a, is a maybe a popular instrument in a certain city, or different states, different countries like different instruments, this is a California favorite, and there is a really good reason, if we have time I will tell you why.

§ Spirit realm; the zeal of God consumes you §

§ It burns like a fire in your bones, §

§ There is nothing you can do about it §

§ You are just like Jodie Foster in the movie Contact, §

§ She would not be stopped in spite of criticism §

§ In spite of rejection §

§ She pressed on with a vision just like you. §

And I see you being given an invitation by the Creator of the entire universe, He is saying, I am offering you the type of gifting that Solomon had, I am offering you a reversal of the aging process, I impart to you new brain cells that you will be using a greater part of your brain than ever before because you have been frustrated because there is such zeal in you, you want to accomplish so much more and you have been held back by the physical, but no longer, because you are a man of faith and you believe in the impossible and you believe me when I say that you are given an invitation to accept the type of gift that was given to Solomon, you will do so much more in the latter part of your life than you have even done this far, and it’s been great so far, you will outrun the young.

SID: Well, I didn’t want you to end, I didn’t want her to end, that was wonderful, I’m almost speechless, I say almost because I am really not, Theresa, you said to me that you had a laundry list of spiritual things and not so spiritual things, emotional needs, that you were looking for in a mate, how many of them were there?

THERESA: About forty.

 SID: And we’ll find out next week how God answered that prayer, but between you and me, did you really think all forty, God was going to answer.

THERESA: No I didn’t, and after a year later I am still amazed and in absolute bliss.

SID: Now you mentioned you had a skin condition that God – you were all blistered, what happened to you, because that was kind of tied in to the prophecy you gave me in a sense.

THERESA: Well, it was due to stress and you know usually because of our past and the trauma that we received as children even, we believe a lie when we are traumatized, and so little by little God will reveal the lie that is keeping us back from the healing, so you are healed from the inside out.

SID: But I understand that you got a fringe benefit.

THERESA: Oh yeah, I did, people have been prophesying to me all over the world that the aging process would be reversed for me, and that condition lasted about three months, I lost a layer of skin every morning and every night and it was like raw, it was a terrible thing, I even had to do concerts looking like a monster in my opinion, but in the end I lost ten years off my face so it was like one of those very expensive acid skin treatments for free, well not for free, but…

SID: But I have to, I’ve been wanting to ask you on this question, one of the things on your forty that you wrote down that your husband was supposed to do was a difference in age, why did you come, I mean I know you told me logically before why you came up with it, but it’s almost like it had to be supernatural you coming up with that specific age.

THERESA: Oh I know it was and I had a lot of friends that said Theresa you have got to let go of that you have got to accept the possibility that your mate may be over forty, or you know, I’m going to say, I’m fifty, because I am happy about that, the fact that God reversed the aging process for me and that he gave me a 39 year-old that people say we look the same age.

SID: Listen, I have a word for you, Psalm 91 says no evil will conquer you, and the word for sickness in the Greek is translated evil. No sickness will conquer you. No evil will conquer you.

As a matter of fact if you totally sell your life out to God to the best of your ability, you can’t do it completely, it’s a gift from God, but you can repent of your sins, and you can ask God to forgive you, and you can make Jesus your Messiah and Lord, you can do that, and this is his promise to you, no sickness will conquer you, there are some people that are hopeless that when you listen to Theresa that hopelessness has to go puff, just disappear, I’m going to say it to you again, take it,  no sickness no evil, nothing, will conquer in Yeshua’s Name.

SID: Hello, Sid Roth here with Theresa Griffith Hurlbert, and I am amazed at the gifting that God has given you. She plays twelve flutes, different types, this is one right here that she is going to play over me and she says that it is like, not her, that after you got recovered from the big mess you were involved in physically, emotionally, everything, you said to me you wanted to go into a studio without any music, that’s a scary proposition.

THERESA: Very scary.

SID: No rehearsal.

THERESA: No… you don’t know your first note, you don’t know your second note or any notes after that. You know what key your are in, but you jump off the cliff, this is the way I describe, you can’t look over the cliff or you will be too afraid to jump, so I jump off without looking and then when I do I feel like I am free floating in the air and it is just totally addictive, highest high I have ever had.

SID: But you have to have had a lot of trepidation the first time, is God going to show up?

THERESA: I sure did, absolutely, the first CD every song I was concerned, oh that was a beautiful song but will He come back, you know, and then after the whole CD was finished I was hooked, I will never you know, have to do a song that is prepared again because the beauty of the pianist and myself playing the same thing at the same time, how could she know where I was going, how did we do exactly the same thing at the same time, just so miraculous.

SID: Now a representative of the top echelon of, I guess it’s called the National Flute Association, was remarking on one of your techniques, explain.

THERESA: It’s called the double-tonguing technique, I was last year fluting every band I was ever in, I use that to encourage people in their destiny, and I just knew that God is the expert in everything, every field in the world and so I asked Him to download to me how to play the flute, He gave me dreams, visions, and I began to practice what He told me to do and it sounded good to me but I didn’t realized it was anything special until she told me that it was one of the fastest in the world, she said it is faster than Jean Parron or James Galway, and I was amazed, I had no idea.

SID: I have to believe that angels are ministering to you so to speak as you blow your flute, and play your flute, have you ever seen angels?

THERESA: I have seen them and felt them, I was in Australia one time and had just gone through a very painful experience and my body was breaking down again, my face was blistered, on both sides and I was so weak I just gripped the microphone and I closed my eyes and is said God, all I can do is just open my mouth and pray and sing to you, and as I did I opened my eyes and in this empty, black balcony were like 24 or so angels, and I heard the Lord speak to me in an Irish accent at that moment and say, “We got you covered.” Because I am Irish and Scottish so he’s very humorous sometimes you know.

SID: And tell me what you saw again, this sounds wonderful to me.

THERESA: Well I saw beings of light in the balcony and I saw them for a moment and then they were gone, and it was in that moment that God spoke to me and said got you covered you know. And I have heard of other people seeing these beams of light you know before, but I had never seen them. I had been touched where an angel will grip my arm and I’ll think well my sleeve is too tight and then I’ll look and there is no sleeve.

SID: What are some of the conditions people are being healed of?

THERESA: Well sometimes when people come up to sit in the seat of honor I’ll get a message about them, but I won’t understand what the message is, only they understand so one time I said to a young man, “I feel that you are going to have a spiritual, the ability to hear in the spirit realm,” well little did I know that he had ringing in the ears for ten years and it stopped right then, another lady I said that God has given you spiritual sight, you may have new sight, and the whole audience went AHHHHHHH – all her friends, and I’m going wow, what did that mean? Well she had a tumor behind the eye and it disappeared at that moment, she was going to have to have surgery. We have had people get up out of wheel chairs and run. Back problems, cancer, chronic fatigue, all kinds of things.

SID: Schools are actually using your music; explain.

THERESA: Yes, public schools in the special education department are using it for nap time and reading time for autism, ADD, ADHD, and mother’s are telling me that their children are choosing the music to go to sleep with at night because it is the only thing that brings them peace.

SID: How about people with just plain insomnia?

THERESA: Lot of letters we are getting about insomnia, people are saying that even the pain that affects the sleep you know, like fibromyalgia, it reduces the pain and helps them sleep for the first time and it even lowers the heart rate and the blood pressure.

SID: Now you told me that you felt you really needed help, with all the instruments you bring, with all that you put out, you need a helpmate, and what happened?

THERESA: Well, I actually was crashing a year ago and I said to God I can’t go on and do this by myself anymore, I have to have a helpmate, I have to have someone that is suitable for me, that will help me and he said I agree with you, and he said I want you to make a list of what you’d like, and I was so super-spiritual, I said I’ve never wanted to do that and he said I want you to do that because I want to show off for you and not only for you but it will bring hope to everyone who hears this story. So he said I don’t want you to stop with just spiritual things either, so I wrote a list of forty things and some of those that, you know, the spiritual things he needs to be prophetic and a musician, even someone who can act because we will be doing movies together and someone who can speak poetic love talk to me everyday, to heal the wounds from the past, and I even said I want a gourmet health food cook and…

SID: Now you are not making it easy on God, are you?

THERESA: No.

SID: Even the age.

THERESA: I said 39, because I wanted him to be able to redeem my prime that I thought was robbed from me; and this ministry is so difficult he better be 39 or he is not going to make it.
