SID:  Hello Sid Roth your investigative reporter here with Pat and Patty McEnnerney, and I am so excited. You know every week I have been saying that, I have been so looking forward to this show, I hope you have been looking forward just half, I mean just 10% as much as I have been looking forward to it. Why?   Because God is going to show up! Now listen there is some people that are watching us right now, that their marriages are bust; it’s disaster. You have totally given up. Not given up because you want God to move, given up because you can’t stand the guy or you can’t stand the woman. Now, that is not the kind of given up that I am talking about. But, Patty you came pretty close to throwing in the towel with your husband, I mean people literally told you to divorce him?

PATTY:  I had neighbors at my door telling me you should leave that man. I had a pastor of a church tell us that we should get divorced.

SID:  Why?

PATTY:  Because we, because Pat wasn’t able to be free to do what he wanted to do.

SID:  He was drinking?  Drugs?

PATTY:  He was drinking; he was addicted to cocaine.

SID:  Pat, how long were you addicted to drugs and alcohol?

PAT:  Drugs five years, alcohol eight.

SID:  Now fortunately I have never been as addict, but as I understand it starts out like fun and games and then you are stuck.

PAT:  Of course, it is a very strong form of false worship. Actually I don’t even hardly know that man. Because when we come into Christ we die. And when my wife even shares that testimony it’s like

SID:  Who’s that guy?

PAT:  Who is that man?

SID:  But in the meantime, you were getting all the pressure: pastor, neighbors; leave that guy. He is never going to change, you are right biblically to get out of the house, and so what did you do?

PATTY:  I decided to give it to God. The Lord had told me that I had a covenant with him, and that he would be faithful and that he would never leave me. And I started reading the word and I realized that, that was my promise it was for me. You know it is for everybody else, but it was for me too. So I began to pray and I had an encounter with the Lord and I was on my kitchen floor for eight hours, releasing…

SID:  Eight hours?

PATTY:  I was stripping my kitchen floor of wax, I did every square inch and then I did it again. And for eight hours I was praying and releasing and I, and you know when the joy and the peace comes on you, you can stand up and know that God has heard you; and I stood up after that encounter with the living God…

SID:  Why did you stay down? Were you …

PATTY:  I was pinned, Sid, I couldn’t get up he would not let me up, I would try..

SID:  What were you doing this, eight hours while you were pinned to the kitchen floor?

PATTY:  I was crying and crying out to God, and the kids were gone I had shipped them out that day, and Pat was gone and I knew it was time because I was desperate. I had no strength, I had nothing in me and that was the point there was nothing in me that could help that marriage. It was going down very fast.

SID:  So did you give up because the marriage was so bad? Or did you give up because you realized that if you gave up, God could move?

PATTY:  Well you know God does some strange things. I really didn’t realize what I was doing, nobody told me to do that. It was a divine appointment that God had set up, and I gave up because I was at the end of myself. There was nothing that I could do, and I knew that I had heard that there was a God that had kept his promise.

SID:  Okay, when you got up after being pinned down on the floor for eight hours, what was going on in the inside?

PATTY:  You know what? It was like a put a new garment on. It was like I had a peace of God on me. I had an assurance that Pat was released to God and I didn’t have to worry about it anymore. And that meant that I might lose my husband, that meant that my children…

SID:  Speaking of losing a husband, you were drinking and what happened in that auto?

PAT:  Well, I was coming home from a drug party, essentially and blacked out in my plumbing truck. And as I was getting ready for the truck to drive off of the road, someone, something behind me was shaking me. And I came too.

SID:  Who was shaking you? There was no one in the car. Who was shaking you?

PAT:  It was an angel – it had to be. You know and the thing was, I thought…

SID:  You were really shaking? But you were into drugs so maybe, the drugs were…

PAT:  See that is exactly what I thought except for this fact. When you have an encounter an actual supernatural encounter, the drugs and alcohol were out of me, and it was as if I had never had any. And I pondered the fact that I survived because

SID:  Okay, you got woke up but then what happened?

PAT:  Well, as I was awakened I grabbed the wheel, and slammed my slammed my foot on the brakes of the truck and watched really in really slow motion, this post come up off of the guard rail and come right at my head.

SID:  Oh no,

PAT:  And as it hit the windshield, it was on a C-30 step down, a flat window, it didn’t crack it didn’t go through it, it took a chip out of it, I don’t know how that happens and then it went up over the truck. The lower one went right through the headlight the fender and would have taken my leg off.

SID:  What happened though?

PAT:  I went home. I looked at the truck and I thought oh my God.

SID:  That could have been, if it had of been on the other side it would’ve been, you would’ve lost your leg; you probably would’ve lost your life.

PAT:  Yes, I should’ve lost my life,

SID:  If you didn’t wake up you would’ve lost your life. So what effect did this have on you?

PAT:  Well I drove home, and Patty had within the two week period, taken the handcuffs off of God and he came to visit. And I saw my whole life come before me, from my earliest recollection of my childhood, to the moment the Lord spoke to me. This happened three times and he said you either turn or I am taking your life and you will burn. And I…

SID:  Did he actually use that terminology?

PAT:  Yes, he did.

SID:  Turn or burn?

PAT:  Yes,

SID:  My goodness I am going to write that down; I like that.

PAT:  Maybe it is not too original but it got my attention. And at first I thought oh no this is just a nightmare, but each time the presence of God came, each time I was convicted of my sin;, unbelievable conviction; unbelievable fear of God fell on me. And I had two scriptures that I knew. I had recently been a Christian. And I only knew two scriptures, God is not a liar.

SID:  You had been a Christian, but you were still drinking.

PAT:  Oh yah,

SID:  I mean, let me tell you something we are going to be back in a moment. God supernaturally changes this man. I mean not naturally, supernaturally, and he now knows people’s names, great miracles are happening. Why not now, why not you? Don’t go away, we will be right back and expect something great to happen to you. Be right back.

SID:  Hello Sid Roth here your investigative reporter here with Hank and Brenda Kunneman, and Hank your book intrigues me. The title, Hide and Seek – in effect you say God is hiding; what do you mean by that?

HANK:  Well Isaiah 45:15 here’s what it says and it is also in Isaiah 8; it says “I am the God that hides myself” and God does not hide so we will never seek him, or find him. In fact Jesus said seek and you will find. So what God does many times is He is longing and waiting, to be with us. The problem is we have so many other things that we are searching for or we are busy about that we never take the time out to seek him. And another thing that is interesting; in fact one of the titles or chapters in my book it talks how the prophets of Baal do many things; sometimes like the church does. And obviously they were calling out to a God that didn’t exist; but they were cutting themselves, they were crying, they were shouting, they were prophesying, they were dressing up, and they were trying to get (quote) “their God’s attention” And I have watched among people, you know: they dress up for church every Sunday, they shout, they cry, they squall, thinking that is going to get God’s attention; they prophesied, they pray, and they cry out. But here’s the thing, the reason why I believe that God answered for Elijah was because He had a sacrifice. He prophesied in I Kings 17 that there would be no dew or rain for a period of three years. So then He begins to build an altar and he begins to pour water out on it. Now water was a sacrifice, and I believe that God is hiding himself – not in the sense that you can’t find him, but He is there waiting for us to seek him, to call upon his name. The Bible says whoever calls upon the name of the Lord will be saved. Those that are already saved, if we will take the time to call out to him He will meet us. And what God is looking for I believe is a sacrifice; us willing to lay everything down on the line for him. Another chapter I talked about, it’s called “Why Seek the Living Among the Dead.”  And it is based on when the angel spoke to the women that were going to the tomb and had their spices and they were expecting a dead Jesus, and as they went they were going to spice up this quote “dead Jesus.” Well the Messiah wasn’t there. And the angel of the Lord said “Why are you looking for the living among the dead?” And I have found that you are not going to find God in the midst of a bunch of tradition, unbelief, busyness; you have to make time and sacrifice to the Lord, no matter how much you want to spice it up.

SID:  See I have always thought God will approach someone if He wants to. It’s God that makes that decision, but you are saying that we have something to do with that.

HANK:  Yeah, I think that there is human responsibility. You know God has his grace and obviously He was working in my life, but I really believe that there comes a point where God is looking for us. I believe that God sent Jesus Christ to the earth it was his move towards us, He was showing us that He wanted man and He was willing to pay the ultimate sacrifice. We also see in Acts chapter two…

SID:  I have to interrupt you right now, there is such a presence of God’s spirit on this set. I mean I am almost starting to tremble my mouth is almost starting to tremble. What is God doing right now? Why is He so blessed by what is going on? Why is He just showing up in such a strong fashion? Do you know Hank?

HANK:  I believe right now that there is a hunger that is in the heart of people that are looking right now at this television program. In fact, there is someone right now the Lord is ministering to my heart that you are crying out to God, because it doesn’t look like He has been answering your prayers; but I want to encourage you if you will take the time to set a place, to set a time, God’s going to meet you. And many of you are crying out; you’re saying “But I want to hear God.” I just want to right now just extend my hands towards you, by the love of God and the mercy of the Father and by his Spirit. You know the prophet of the Lord anointed the servants eyes that He could see; and so I just want to pray right now in the name of Jesus Christ that in the spiritual eyes will be begin to be enlightened; that you will know the understanding and the knowledge of God Almighty. I also pray that there come a supernatural release of seeing and knowing; that you would begin to see the things of the Spirit, and know God in a way that you have never known before. And that there will come a supernatural endowment of God, in his presence that will stir something up inside of you; that you will begin to seek God with all of your heart. In fact, the Bible says in Acts 2, that there was a rushing mighty wind. You know why I believe it was rushing? Because God could not wait to live inside of his people; and that is what the Lord is doing right now. He is releasing an anointing across the airways to begin to stir up again a spiritual hunger and thirst that has been dry on the inside of many of you. In fact, just lift up your hands and extend them towards the television set because God is going to literally release an anointing that is going to stir something up on the inside of your heart and things are going to be different in your walk right now. And I release that to you now in Jesus name; receive that presence, receive that anointing that breaks that yoke and releases those heavy burdens; receive that anointing right now. In fact there is a woman right now: Marilyn I see you, you have been contemplating suicide. In fact, I see scars on your wrist and here is what God is saying to you: “Lay down, lay down that which you have desired to do, because there is a new day coming for you. You have been going through jobs, but there is a job for you. And if you begin to seek after the Lord, you see you walked away, in fact your dad is a minister, and you have walked away. But I just want to encourage you, suicide is not the answer. God is the answer: the God of your father. You need to return back to that place again. Oh I know you are saying “hypocrisy,” but you know what? God has your attention right now. He is waiting there like the prodigal father with his arms open wide to receive you by his love and his grace. I just want to encourage you Marilyn that is the answer not taking your life.

SID:  I believe that there is a river – literally a tangible river of God’s presence that is pouring out. And as it is pouring out I hear that wherever this river goes, that’s what Ezekiel says there is life. Wherever this river goes there is healing, and I just heard by the spirit of God that someone who has an ache in there neck if they will move there neck they will see that ache is gone. There is another person that has an ache in there heart and I tell you, you have the balm of Gilead that is being poured into your heart right now. And it is a new day for you; it is a new beginning. And there are other people who just want peace! They just want peace, and I tell you the only way that you can have peace is to know the Sar Shalom, the Prince of Peace! And the only way to know the Sar Shalom, the Prince of Peace, is to believe that He died for your sins and that you repent; I mean there is no longer any time to play games. Especially, there’s someone who is a minister that is watching right now. And you’ve said “Well, God hasn’t done any; my ministry isn’t being blessed.” But I tell you cut it out because in another few months, your sin will be found out. And you have an opportunity to be a mensch; to be a man with God. He deserves more, so muster up that courage; repent of your sins and that means true repentance means not only stop doing it, but reconcile with that person that you are having problems with and get free. Know the truth, know the truth. The truth has a name – his name in Hebrew is Yeshua; his name in English is Jesus. Know the truth and the truth will set you free and don’t forget that important word by Hank and that is “ask God, God what do you want to do today, what is on your heart God.” Be more concerned with God and his righteousness then you and whatever you are doing that is nothing. God is everything, but to God you are special. To God you have importance; to God you are valuable, I tell you, you are valuable. There is purpose and destiny on your life don’t miss it!

SID: Hello. Sid Roth here with Brenda and Hank Kunneman. And because they’re friends of God, because they pursue God and because God just wants to be in their presence, He supernaturally protects them. He supernaturally heals them. He supernaturally provides. We’re coming to a time in history in which how would you like to be able to count on God supernaturally protecting you? Hank, give me another story.

HANK: I was driving in my car and the Lord said, “Stop at that fast food restaurant.” I thought it was meant to eat. I thought the Lord was endorsing it. He said, “Go in and find the biggest man and tell him about Jesus.” Well you know what I did, Sid? The opposite. I went in and I looked for the smallest guy and I couldn’t find him. I turned around and went outside and looked, and there was this huge biker, you know, motorcycle biker. Obviously big guy. Tattooed, everything. The Lord said, “Him.” I said, “God, him? What did I ever do? I’m not gonna talk to this guy.” And the Lord said, “Talk to him.” And so I went up to him and I started sharing with him. And he said, “I’m gonna kill you.” He was so mad. And he started to chase after me. And I was pretty scared. You know, wasn’t bold. I literally started walking away from him. I didn’t stand there, you know, and want to fight him. I started walking away. He literally picked me up and went to throw me back in a window. And the most incredible thing happened. People there witnessed it. As he picked me up to throw me into the window, I bounced off the window. I should have gone through. If that wasn’t enough, as soon as I looked and around, and he looked around because he couldn’t believe that I didn’t go through the window, he proceeded to try to punch me three times. But Sid, because of my life of not leaving God alone the Lord protected me. And three times he missed my face. And he was so angry that he started manifesting even more demonically. And his other bikers had to hold him back. Now here’s a guy three times he tried to punch me. He couldn’t hit me. They had to hold him back. But after that I rebuked the devil and I commanded the devil that was in the man to come out of him. And he fell to the ground and I was able to pray deliverance over this young man. In other words, what I mean by deliverance, commanding evil presence to leave his life. And after that he was completely different, and I was able to share Jesus with him all because my time of prayer beforehand.

BRENDA: That’s really the key.

SID: How about that young child.

BRENDA: Well you know, we had a situation that happened in our church. This was, what, two or three years. And it was in the summertime. And something that we do, and I just want to say we spend a lot of time in prayer together. But we encourage our church to be people that don’t leave God alone. We really promote that in the church. And so there was a family in the church and their child had been playing in a window, was 12 feet up. So the window was 12 feet from above their driveway. The little child suddenly went through the screen, fell out of the window to the concrete. I think the baby was about two years old at the time.

HANK: And two weeks prior one happened in the city the same way and died.

BRENDA: Exactly. Well this child, the parents ran outside, rushed the child to the hospital. He wasn’t responding. And they called us right away and said, “Pastors, pray.” And of course, our church people are people that they press into God and they began to pray. And everybody just prayed. We called out to God and immediately we began to decree. Because we’re confident that God is here for us because we spend that time. See, if you spend that time you’re confident God is there when you need Him. And so we called out to God. We decreed that none of his bones would be broken, that the child would completely be made whole. And by the time, I think you went up to the hospital–

HANK: Be careful about what you see. Because when I went up there he was throwing up.

BRENDA: It looked bad. He was sick.

HANK: He had all kinds of braces. And I thought, oh no, he’s throwing up blood. And it wasn’t blood. It was the Kool-Aid and the hotdogs he had eaten before he went out the window. So you can be moved by what you see.

BRENDA: That’s really true.

HANK: It almost messed with my complete confidence at that moment. And I have to point out, if you want the supernatural you got to get out of your head.

BRENDA: Yes you do. That’s exactly right. So this child, Sid, God as my witness, not one bone in that child’s body was broken. He was completely whole. I think he went home the next from the hospital.

HANK: And they declared it a miracle, the doctors.

BRENDA: They kept him for observation. The doctors declared it a miracle from the Lord. And these are the kinds of things that God does with people that press into Him.

SID: Very briefly, tell me about the baby that was cured of an incurable disease.

BRENDA: We had another child in our church who was born prematurely and I think there was something like 11 different diseases that this child was born with. It was supposed to die. The doctors were given, everyday they said to the mother, “This child is getting worse.” And again, we had a church that prayed. The Lord told Hank, “Go up to the hospital. I want you to just rock this baby and pray.”

HANK: He told me that Sunday. He said, “After the service, get up to the hospital and rock that baby.”

BRENDA: Just go up there. Rock this baby. People called out to God. And let me just tell you, Sid, I’m talking the kinds of prayer that will not take no for an answer.

SID: Bottom line.

BRENDA: And so that child was healed, completely made whole.

HANK: Today, beautiful, beautiful.

BRENDA: And beautiful little girl today. A complete miracle.

SID: You know what I love about your book, Hank? This book, “Don’t Leave God Alone”, there’s a presence of God on this that will cause you to be able to want to persevere, to have that breakthrough in every arena of your life. Hank, pray for those young children that are watching right now or the parents that have written their name down.

HANK: Right now, in the name of Jesus of Nazareth, I stretch my hands right through that camera right into where you’re at and in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth I declare the healing power of God over your child, over your baby. I rebuke sickness. I rebuke disease. I declare incurable diseases go in Jesus’ name. And I declare that the same spirit that raised Jesus from the dead touch your baby, touch your child right now. And I declare right now by the authority of Jesus Christ be healed from the top of your head to the souls of your feet. And I see someone right now. You’re touching your child. There’s something with their legs. They haven’t been able to move their legs. I declare now those legs be loose now by the authority of Jesus Christ. And I declare even cerebral palsy, Lord God of Heaven, touch that one right now in the name of Jesus. No, that’s it. Lay your hands upon that child. Lay your hands upon that, no, there’s no distance now as we declare this. Be healed in Jesus’ name. And I declare over your household peace. I declare over your household comfort. And I declare over your house now the healing power of God. And I say, you can even touch where my hand is right now. And I declare whatever your symptom is, whatever your sickness is let the healing power of God now go into your body, go into your home, go into your children now and from this moment forward it shall be different.

BRENDA: Yes, Lord. Jesus.

SID: Hank, you teach that you literally through prayer can change God’s mind? You really believe that.

HANK: That’s what the patriarchs in the Bible did. They’re no different than we are. And Moses, God at one point said, “Moses, leave me alone!” Because he was so angry at how the children of Israel were acting. But Moses did something that we need to do. He said, “I’m not gonna leave you alone, God until you bless the people.” That’s what he said. Jacob was another one. He said, “God, I’m not gonna leave you alone until you bless me.” And that’s what I’ve learned.

BRENDA: That’s right.

SID: Hank, I am not gonna leave you alone. I’m not gonna leave YOU alone until you walk into the most wonderful world in existence. It’s a world where you’re a friend of God’s, where God knows your name. The only way to do this, the entry, the gate is the Messiah of Israel, Yeshua, Jesus, the anointed one. Ask him to wash your sins away and live inside of you via Lord now.

SID:  Hello Sid Roth your investigative reporter here with Pat and Patty McEnnerney, and they hear from God and God shows up sometimes fire. People can see the fire they can smell the smoke burning. And he prayed for someone without a pupil and before his very eyes he saw that pupil come, tell me one other miracle that comes to mind.

PAT:  Dominick – full blown late in the stage of Aids. Had brain meningitis on top of that came to one of our meeting and received the Lord. And got filled with the power of God, got baptized fell back under the power and presence of God and the Lord was speaking to him, and I looked at him because God had spoken to me to cast the demon off.

SID:  Aids is a demon?

PAT:  Yes,

SID:  Okay,

PAT:  Yes, Yes,

SID:  Medical science doesn’t know what it is so it might as well be.

PAT:  You know scientist say if they can figure out what life form cancer was you know they could stop it. And so

SID:  Is cancer a demon?

PAT:  I believe it is, yes,

SID:  I do too.

PAT:  I believe all sickness and disease is the result of sin. And we still have that and many are sick today, but Dominick didn’t look any different, this is the wonderful thing. He looked no different than when he came into the meeting. But I knew he was healed I knew Jesus had healed him. And I charged him, I said Dominick by his stripes, the Lord Jesus Christ, the Messiah the son of God has healed you, now go get your blood tested. And he did.

SID:  And…

PAT:  There was no trace of any disease. Absolutely the doctor couldn’t believe that he was running in and out of the room. Dominick has put 65 pounds on.

SID:  Pat, you told me that before we went on the air that God told you that people with pain, people that are blind, are going to, people that need deliverance such as Dominick did are going to be set free, please pray right now.

PAT:  I would be delighted to. Friends listen to me. In the church today many are in so much pain. This Jesus that I know this relationship that I have with the living God is real. And he loves to demonstrate with power, with miracles of creation. Father, I thank you right now for your presence falling right around all those that are listening right now. Just turn your eyes to Jesus; Jesus is the healer. Right now in Jesus mighty name, I command that strong man of name vaporize right now in Jesus name. By the authority given to me in the mighty name in Jesus Christ, I loose off the power of this pain and I cast it off and I command it not to come back, and I charge the Holy Spirit, to enforce the covenant of life right now. In Jesus name, now those of you that are chair bound stand up right now, those of you that have pain in elbows and shoulders right now lift your arms straight up and worship the Messiah. Step out of where you are right now; step out in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.  He’s real.  And there are some that are listening right now that are blind. One person – been blind since birth; and God says that if we would have His kind of faith, we can move a mountain. And that is a mountain and many others of you have other problems that are a mountain, but I’m telling you right now there is being released right now through the Spirit, the enforcer of the mighty covenant, this New Covenant without any curse through the blood of Jesus Christ. Right now in the mighty name of Jesus. Holy Spirit we charge you to be released in the mighty name of Jesus.  Now open your eyes; open your eyes.  I rebuke the spirit of blindness right now in Jesus mighty name. I command this spirit to submit to the Lordship of Jesus. Be loosed in Jesus Christ of Nazareth’s name. Right now I cast you off and I charge the Holy Spirit right now to consecrate and cover this precious child; this precious son, this precious daughter, with the blood of the Lamb, in Jesus mighty name.  Amen.

SID:  You know many times when you speak like this, you get specific words of knowledge; specific names.  Tell me an example of when you had a specific name and someone’s life was changed.

PAT: Uh, Long Island, New York – four weeks ago.  The Lord spoke three names, gave me their wedding anniversaries and told me what the problem was with their marriage.  And as I was ministering, I called out their names and the dates and everything.  And this is normal, what happens is they come up afterwards and say that’s my wedding anniversary.  This one gentleman was divorcing his wife and a lady came up –same thing. And it was amazing because we see this revelation, or this Rhema word, being released into God’s children, what happens is all of a sudden and their faith explodes and they step into the supernatural.

SID:  Do you know there’s going to be such a great revival; such a great move of God’s spirit. And it’s not going to be those on tv, it’s going to be every – the least – I mean, 2000 years ago, the least believer could walk in the supernatural of God. And we’ve moved to a superstar system, but we already have a superstar – His name is Jesus. And I believe that if you pray for an impartation, very quickly now, that there will be an impartation for the supernatural like they have never seen before.  Do you want to be able to move in this kind of power? Well, just get close to that the television set or that video right now and stretch your faith.  And Pat you pray

PAT: Hallelujah.  And I do have the faith for this right now. Father, in Jesus name, some might be ridiculing, but that’s okay. Open up your heart right now. I charge you to say to the Lord right now, if it’s true, show yourself to me. Right now, Father, in Jesus name, I charge the Holy Spirit to bring a holy fire; bring the holy presence of your presence God, of fear right now. Father I just give you praise for those listening to this right now. That this impartation of the miraculous was given to those that would all say, Lord use me. God I ask for a release right now of a cry in their being to cry out for the true things, the sure things; the things that change lives; the things that bring people back from death out of hell; into your presence; into your kingdom. It’s in the Word Lord. Jesus you are the Word. You are everything. Right now in the mighty name of Jesus, I give you praise for the release of this impartation in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.

SID:  And I tell you, right now the same words that God Himself spoke to Pat, he’s speaking to you:  “Turn or burn.” Hell is real. Heaven is real. God is real. The devil is real. This is all real. And it’s not an accident you’re watching us right now.  Turn – meaning: turn away from the sin and turn to God, tell him you’re sorry. That’s repentance. You don’t have to use my words; use your words. And ask him to forgive you because his blood will not only wash away your sins, He says “I will remember them no more.” That means you have a clean slate. And then open yourself up to Jesus to live inside of you and be your Lord and just as he cleaned up Pat, he wants to clean you up.  Turn or burn. God is so good, that there is not an accident that you are watching. This is a divine moment in your life, whereas in the past you have shirked off that divine moment. God said to Pat, this is your last chance and I believe there are people I’m speaking to right now:  this is your last chance! Turn or burn! Turn or burn!

SID: Hello. Sid Roth here with Brenda and Hank Kunneman. And Hank and Brenda, you have walked through it. I think as that young boy before you even knew God you heard His voice. How old were you and what did he say to you?

HANK: I was five years old on the island of Guam when God’s voice came to me the first time. I wasn’t even a Christian. See, God’s reaching out to people even before they even know it.

BRENDA: That’s right.

HANK: And all they have to do is reach back. And He told me, He started talking about living a life. And He talked in elementary terms, living a life that was right, doing what was good. And He showed me and talked to me about His creation, and He created these things for my enjoyment. But I’m gonna tell you. That is the key because it developed something in me and that’s the key for you watching, too, is a hunger for God. You know, reach for Him. That’s the key. Reach for Him. Sometimes, you know, you’re waiting for God to hit you over the head. And, you know, we have to reach towards Him. And one of the things that happened one time, and I didn’t really realize how much God was reaching towards us and how much God really wants to be with us, how much he really loves us, and He longs to be with us. Here’s what happened. I was in my prayer room. And of course, we do what everybody does now. Sometimes being a preacher you put God on your time. You know, you have this much amount of time in my schedule. And so I had one hour. God, you’re gonna get one hour of my time. And I was ready. I was done. I did my religious duty. I spent one hour with God. And so I was getting ready to leave. And soon as I grabbed the door handle of my room I heard the most incredible voice. God still speaks today, Sid. And God said these words to me. He said, “Please!” And I stopped. I thought, who is saying “please” to me? And I heard, “Please don’t leave,” Sid.

SID: God said to you?

HANK: Yes, to me. The Creator of the universe.

SID: Hank Kunneman, said to you? There’s something about you that I need to be in your presence. He needs to be in your presence? He needs to be with you? He needs to be with you. Whether you’ve heard that or not, this is what the Bible says, the truth book. God is not irrespective of persons. If He needs Hank and Brenda he needs you.

BRENDA: That’s right.

HANK: You know, and I’ll tell you how important this is. Brenda and I, we spend a lot of time together with the Lord, but we reach back. And one day, it will come in handy, because when you spend time with God and you take that time to be with Him and hunger is so important. Sid, there’s times as a preacher I have sat with God and I said, “Lord, I don’t feel your presence. I am bored. I don’t like this time. I would rather do something else. But Lord, I’m hungry and I want you and I want your presence.” And it doesn’t sometimes seem like anything is happening at the moment.

SID: But you know what? Someone can be hungry and they don’t see anything happen and then they go and watch the ball game.

BRENDA: Right, right.

HANK: Yes. Right. Well but one thing that Jesus had is his private prayer life produced public power. And that’s where people miss it. They don’t have any public power or any supernatural things because they’re not spending time with God. And I want to tell you. We had a thing happen one time.

BRENDA: Well, you know, I just feel this, too, Sid. I believe as we’re talking, this came right up in my heart by the Lord, is God is speaking even as we’re sitting here. But there are people dealing with loneliness. And I just feel like there’s somebody out there that you’re dealing with loneliness and you’re feeling like, man, does anybody care? And as we’re talking you’re thinking, “Well God, do you care?” And I just want to encourage you. This is your moment to be with God. He does care. You don’t have to be lonely in your life. And so I just want to encourage you. Reach to God like you heard Hank say and like Sid was saying, reach to God because your lonely moments are going to be fulfilled in Him as He’s reaching to you. And so I just feel I’d like to encourage somebody with that by the spirit.

HANK: You know one time, let me tell you what God does. When you spend time with him there’s a presence that He will put on your life. I remember years ago I was a youth minister and I was out playing what we call Capture the Flag, and it was kind of like a hide and seek type game. And all of a sudden I heard a noise and I didn’t hear it in the natural. I heard it in the spirit, but I thought it was in the natural. And it was a loud sounding noise of music, Sid. And all of a sudden I grabbed the youth leaders and I said, “Get all the kids right now.” And it was pretty late at night. It was almost about midnight. I said, “Get all the kids quickly. Get them inside of the church.” And they said, “Why? Why?” I said, “I don’t know. Something”. And I hear this noise. “Get them in now.” And as soon as I said that we started the process of moving all of these kids. And there was quite a few of this youth group. Well there was an off-duty police officer there and he said, “Is everything okay?” And I said, “I don’t know. There’s something wrong.” All of a sudden within 15 minutes later all of these cars come flying into the church parking lot. And it was a bunch of gangs and they had their music going, and it was a really loud sounding bass sound that the older I get, the less tolerant I am of it. But anyway, they got out of their cars and started running towards us. And all of the kids got inside of the building. But me and this off-duty police officer were the only two, and he went to go get his gun. I’m standing there now in the middle of all of these–They started surrounding me with clubs and chains, and stuff. And I’m surrounded by gangs And if it wasn’t for a life of not leaving God alone and crying out for him I would have never had the supernatural presence that is on my life, whether I speak to a president or the lowliest person or surrounded by gangs. And all of a sudden this one gang leader came out and he walked up to me, and he said something I did not understand, and he was reaching in his coat to pull out what was an apparent weapon. Sid, at that moment, you know, you have a choice. You can be like Rocky Balboa. You know, Rocky, yo. I wasn’t Rocky. I wasn’t, “Hey, how do you do?” I felt like Don Knotts. I couldn’t even say anything. I was so scared. I know that doesn’t sound spiritual for those that are watching. You know, I didn’t seem spiritual. But I remember I pointed my finger and I didn’t say anything. All of a sudden their eyes got big, and there must have over a hundred of these gangs. I don’t know what they saw, started running in absolute fear. At that time they got in their cars and went to get away, and as they were so scared what they saw they were hitting each other creating car accidents trying to get out. And this other police officer came by and he said, “What is going on here?” He held up his badge because he was in the city that we were in. And he said, “I’ve never seen them like this. Why are they running?” I believe they saw an angel. I believe they saw angels. I believe God came literally to protect me because of my relationship of not leaving God alone.

SID: I sure hope that Brenda and Hank Kunneman are provoking to jealousy because everything they have, not only is it available to you, God wants it more for you than you want it for yourself. I want to hear some of this supernatural, I mean, God supernaturally protected you. How would you like to walk in supernatural protection? Don’t go away. And by the way, if you have a young child that’s sick, we’re gonna pray for them when we come back.

SID: Hello. Sid Roth here. Welcome to my world where it’s naturally supernatural. I can just taste the rarified air of Heaven. Most people I know, they believe in God. They believe that God answers prayers, but they prayed so many times and it appeared as though the heavens were crass and they somehow did not get through to God, and their faith level is all the way down here, and they ask other people to pray for them. There’s something wrong with that picture. I’m so excited about guests, Brenda and Hank Kunneman, because they’ve got revelation for you. God’s gonna answer your prayer of, “God, why can’t I get through to you?” It’s going to be answered. And if you have young children, teenagers that are sick, there is a special presence of God. They’re gonna be healed. And if they’re not with you for some reason just take a piece of paper, write their name, and if they’re with you get them out immediately. Well Hank, you had this birth. You had a problem. Is God going to answer your prayers? Tell me about that.

HANK: Well it was a problem. It was such a problem, Sid, that I would fall asleep in prayer. This lasted like six months. I had what I call spiritual attention deficit disorder. I’d go to pray and everything would distract me. I felt like God was a million miles away, and I said, “Lord, have I sinned? Have I done something wrong?” So I finally decided to do the spiritual thing.

SID: What’s that?

HANK: To go on a three-day fast. And I’m talking about not just fast Snicker bars or Mars bars or something. I’m talking about I really was so hungry. I said, I’m gonna go out and I’m gonna do a water fast. But then I snuck something. I snuck a bag of snacks because the Lord hadn’t been talking to me.

BRENDA: Just in case.

HANK: Just in case for six months, yeah. The fact is I’m not going hungry. And so I went out for three days–

SID: Fasting with snacks.

HANK: Yeah. They were my back up survival kit.

BRENDA: If God doesn’t come immediately.

HANK: If God doesn’t show up. And I’m sure there’s people that feel that way, you know, like where is God? But I decided, you know, I’m gonna take three days and I’m gonna go and I’m gonna fast, and I’m gonna get a hold of this God. I’m gonna refuse to leave this God alone. And I read in the Bible where Moses didn’t leave Him alone. Jacob didn’t leave Him alone. And the names go on and on. I said, “I am gonna get a hold of God.” So again, I brought my snack survival kit. And what happened is I set everything up in my cabin and I walked out in the woods to go pray trying to get a hold of God. Now keep in mind, I’d been falling asleep. I would wake up praying for a fast food restaurant, and that’s why they’ve sold over a billion hamburgers, the one I’ve been praying for.

BRENDA: ‘Cause we interceded one.

HANK: ‘Cause I interceded and I would find the name of that restaurant. I mean, crazy stuff like that. So I was walking through the forest, the woods, and I looked and off in the distance in this field were deer. And I was so determined. And I said, “God, you know, and I tried to quote the scripture that talks about, “As the deer panteth for the water so my soul longs after you.” I was trying to get spiritual with God. So these dear were out there and I said, “Lord, if you’re even listening to me make those deer come to me.” Do you know what happened, Sid? I got to tell you. You’re not even gonna believe this. The deer ran the opposite direction. And I said, “That’s it. I must have done something wrong.”

BRENDA: You didn’t get your prayers answered.

HANK: And I said, what did I do wrong? And I was so frustrated, and I don’t encourage anyone to do this. I shook my fist to the Lord and I said, “God, that’s it.” And then I do what a lot of times we do when we’re really frustrated at God. We try to tell Him how to do His job. I said, “Well if I was you, Father, if I was God and somebody was out here trying to seek your face I would at least have answered and I would have brought those deer to him.” And I began to really be a real brat. So I decided I had enough and sat down and I fell asleep. Forty-five minutes later I heard a noise and I could not believe what I saw. I mean, very close to me, a few feet a way were the very same deer that looked like they went the opposite direction. God was listening and He brought those deer right next to me. Immediately, I went back into my prayer cabin and I started to grab the door and I walked in the door, because I was gonna repent, because I mean, I was in big trouble after what I said I knew. But the Lord is so merciful. He’s such a good Father. I mean, he knows when we’re brats. And so as soon as I opened the door a power, the power of God Himself grabbed a hold of me and threw me across the room, and I was literally overcome by the spirit of God’s presence. And He said to me, “I’ve taught you something that will never be taken from you. It’s spiritual pursuit.” See sometimes people only pray when everything’s good.

BRENDA: Right. That’s right.

HANK: Jesus prayed in three primary places: the desert, the wilderness, okay.

BRENDA: That’s right.

HANK: What was the other one. Desert, wilderness.

BRENDA: The mountaintop.

HANK: Mountaintop.

BRENDA: That’s when things are going good. The mountaintop.

HANK: I like having her here today, Sid. She helps me out. But anyway, on the mountaintop, you know, where everything is good. We don’t praying in the valley when things are low. We don’t like praying when things are hot. And so I learned something. I learned how to get a hold of God and not to give up. That’s why we have supernatural experiences. Is we’ve had to press through some pretty hard things.

BRENDA: That’s kind of how we started our ministry. I think it’s just many hours of pacing the floor when it looked like it was not gonna go right, and I think that’s the big hurdle that many people have to overcome in their pursuit of God, is you’re not always gonna feel like it. It’s not always gonna seem like anything is happening. It’s not always gonna feel like the prayers are working. But that is where you learn to press into God anyway, because when you do that’s when you break through. And of course, I think of the woman of the issue of blood. She had to break through the crowd and press to where Jesus was. And when she did that she got her answer. And I think that’s something in the early years of our ministry. Sid, we are walking in supernatural things today. And I really want the audience to hear this part. We are walking in supernatural things today that we pace the floor and prayed out to God.

SID: Give me an example.

BRENDA: Well 20 years ago–

HANK: That list that we had. We had a list. You need to talk about this.

BRENDA: We had this list. We said, “God, we need you to do X amount of things in the ministry.” We were praying for big things. They’re not so big now, but they were huge then. And we just called out to God, put this list on our fridge, had scriptures, prayed them out, slapped that fridge everyday. Every time we got, we figure put it on the fridge. Every time we got to get something to eat you got to remember what you pray before the Lord. And we eventually moved out of that house. And several moves later the list got put in a box. And you know, you always have those boxes that don’t get unpacked at the next house. So probably, I think it was last summer. Was it last summer?

HANK: About two summers ago because we got into a big argument, because it was all my stuff that she wanted to go through.

BRENDA: We were cleaning out boxes and I said we got to get through this stuff.

HANK: We were on vacation. You’re not supposed to do work when you’re on vacation.

BRENDA: We took some time off and we cleaned out these boxes. And I pulled out this piece of paper and, Sid, I’ll bet you can’t guess what that was. It was the list.

SID: Of course. How many had gotten an answer?

BRENDA: As God as my witness, that, every single thing on that list was answered and then some. And you know what? It was bigger than we even put on the list. And I realized at that time that we don’t even believe God for enough. We don’t even ask Him for big enough.

SID: And here’s the deal. Brenda and Hank are not God’s favorites. The Messiah is God’s favorite and the Messiah is in them. And guess what? Brain storm. The Messiah is in you or you’d better say a prayer real quick. Be right back after this word.

SID: Hello, Sid Roth your investigative reporter here with Dr. David Remedios. And we’re hearing something. This is the way every doctor should operate. Literally, David knows the best medical science has. He’s a vascular surgeon, but he has learned to hear and to trust God’s voice. Tell me about another one of your patients, Lynn Bearden.

DAVID: Oh absolutely. Had Crohns disease; had communication between her small bowel and the abdominal wall and the skin for many years. And it was a very difficult case. Long story short, we began non-operatory treatment to see if we could close her fissure with medications.  And her gall bladder all of a sudden went terribly bad, it became an emergency situation. I was forced to go in and operate. Normally a gall bladder would take me somewhere between 30 and 45 minutes, which is about standard or average. About six hours

SID: Whoa.

DAVID: Bleeding, I had to call in another colleague of mine. And all her organ systems shut down, multiple organ system failure. About 24 to 26 days in an intensive care unit, still in an intensive care unit. And what happened at that point, I had to address surgically of course the Crohns disease which I had not even touched.  And my plan was, if she ever survives this, it’s going to be at least a year or more before I address this. Well she began to bleed in her bowels.

SID: So you had to do something.

DAVID: So I was being forced to go in, much against my judgment or what I wanted to do. And if she had barely survived the gall bladder, imagine an intervention of this magnitude. Long story short, we were praying, the family was praying of course, the pastor’s wife, the whole church interceding, many churches praying and I had a dream. I had a dream that I was doing the surgery, I saw what the organs looked like from the inside, I saw myself doing the procedure. And I was supposed to have a gynecologist assisting me on another part because she also had a problem in another part of her body. And in the dream I didn’t see the gynecologist.  And so I told the family, I said “Look, this is extremely high risk,” “I don’t see how she could survive this but we have to go in.” And sure enough, when I went in, much to my surprise honestly, it was exactly what I had seen in my dream. As a matter of fact, at the last minute the gynecologist who was supposed to be in with me decided he would come in after I would be done with my part of the procedure. She survived, she came out of the ICU she went home.  She’s leading a normal life with her family. Again, it’s hard for me to even convey the magnitude of actually what has happened here. After her bone marrow had shut down, her kidneys shut down, her heart was failing, lung failure, congestive heart failure; everything was shutting down. I mean her chance of survival was next to none. And she made it through two huge surgeries. Again, the hand of the Lord and prayer

SID: David, I’ve gotten to know you.  I even asked him about my daughter’s condition and he started praying for her and he literally saw what was going on inside of her. I believe that if you pray for people right now, and I am putting a demand on the gift God has given you, some miracles are going to take place. Someone’s back was just healed, I know that. If you would, pray right now David.

DAVID: Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus, I pray right now that wherever someone is right now, with even a carpal tunnel condition where you’re having tingling, that God is totally releasing that. Some lady, in the left breast right now you have a lump that is literally disappearing. Someone with a lung condition right now having trouble breathing, it’s been literally healed. Lord Jesus, you went about healing all those who were hurting, who were pressed and sick and Lord God I just pray that right now that you send out your healing power in Jesus’ name, amen.

SID: Have you ever prayed for someone that has had breast cancer?

DAVID: Oh absolutely.

SID: And they’ve been healed?

DAVID: Oh yeah.

SID: One person, quickly.

DAVID: A lady as a matter of fact came to my office, a dear friend of mine that lived in New Mexico. And a very suspicious mammogram, I sent her to a radiologist, did a needle biopsy, came back totally full of cancer cells. I was going to do a modified radical mastectomy. They said “We want to go and pray.” Long story short, they came back, said “Brother David, we feel like she’s been healed.” I said “Ok, well let me do a biopsy.”  So I did an excisional biopsy after localizing the area with a needle and there was no cancer on the specimen.

SID: You know David, that’s even better than God showing you how to do surgery.  I mean that’s kind of, that is where we’re supposed to be. Because the same Jesus that died for your sins, died for your diseases. But this life is just a vapor. What counts is fulfilling your destiny.  Haven’t you felt there’s something that you’re supposed to do that you just haven’t touched yet? Haven’t you felt that there must be something more? Haven’t you felt that there’s a destiny on your life? I tell you, there is. I tell you, it’s not finished.  I tell you, stop looking behind, and look upon Jesus. Repent of your sins. He knows what they are and He loves you, but you are separating yourself from your destiny. Tell God you’re sorry for your sins, believe the blood of Jesus washed them away, and then with your mouth, say “Jesus, I make you my Lord.” And then, get happy, because this is the most important purpose of your life. Dr. David Remedios says he wouldn’t even be alive today if he didn’t know how to hear God’s voice. And since God is not a respecter of persons, what He did for David, He’ll do for you. Now get right with God. This is your moment. Not later, now.

SID: Hello, Sid Roth your investigative reporter here with Dr. David Remedios who is a vascular surgeon. I asked him for the toughest surgery of his life and he knew exactly what it was, it was a dear friend. And he worked in the operating room for seven hours. And it looked like there was no way that he could survive. I mean you told me that his organs were just being destroyed.

DAVID: Correct.

SID: And so you went home. And what did you find out?

DAVID: Well I found out that the same time I was in the operating room that a prayer meeting was going on in my house and different people saw me and then a miracle happened.

SID: Wait. While you were doing surgery people saw you in your own house?

DAVID: Yes they did; about three different people, yes.

SID: Well that’s not without precedent. If you remember Peter, there was a prayer meeting and they thought it was his spirit when he was knocking at the door. But what happened next?

DAVID: He went home within a week.

SID: But that’s, medically speaking…

DAVID: That doesn’t make any sense to me. It doesn’t make any sense; medically speaking

SID: But you know Dr. Remedios has literally prayed for people that have gotten new organs.  I want you to see a home video of one of his patients: Dee and Gary Sapp. Let’s go to that – cut now.

Gary: We’re Gary and Dee Sapp of Alexandria Louisiana. We’ve come today to tell you about Dee’s creative miracle and give you an update.

Dee: November of 1995, on the Saturday following Thanksgiving, I found myself in a lot of pain with a very distended abdomen and I asked my husband to please get me some help.

Gary: Being on the weekend the only thing I knew to do was go to the emergency room and so en route the Holy Spirit instructed me to call our good friend Dr. David Remedios. And after talking to him he instructed me he would meet us in the emergency room. And after arriving at the emergency room Dee’s stomach was so swollen, while I was parking my car they took her to delivery for a baby.

Dee: Dr. Remedios did examine me. He found that I needed something for the pain. He did give me that. I was very happy.  I wouldn’t know anything else for that18 hours until the surgery was done.

Gary: A few minutes late David came in with the X-rays and showed me that everywhere on the X-rays that was black was blockage. He couldn’t do anything that evening but the next morning he would do a more extensive CAT scan, which he did and found out at that point that emergency surgery had to be done or Dee would possibly die. And so at that point David took both my hands and prayed a very simple prayer saying to the Lord “I want you to be with me in the operating room” “and have angels attend to me while I’m there.”

Dee: Without knowing about that prayer, I did encounter angels in the operating room. They appeared as small children but they were actually inside my stomach area. I could see them, I could hear them laughing, I could see them running around and jumping up and down.  There was a lot of love, a lot of warmth, and they left me with the message to be at peace, for all was well.

Gary: David removed a golf ball sized tumor from Dee’s colon but before that he took out her appendix at her gall bladder. Not knowing what to do, the Lord instructed him to go through her colon inch by inch where he found the golf ball sized tumor. After removing it he found out it was malignant and it also spread into her lymph nodes. Gangrene had set into her stomach and David third stage cancer was the report from the tumor. So at that point God just really gave David some very super instructions because as he took out her colon, part of her colon, 36 inches, he was to attach a colostomy and an eliostomy bag to her for the rest of her life. But the Holy Spirit intervened and said for him not to do it, to stretch her colon together, clamp it off, sew it up, that it would work.

Dee: And it did work. Day two, all my bowel function worked. Day four, I went home from the hospital. I didn’t even need pain medication. Day six, I was actually up doing laundry.

Gary: What’s so amazing is the creative part of this miracle. That in 1996, one year later, we went back to the hospital to do a colonoscopy. David was checking for lesions, tumors, anything that could be there. And so after checking all of that, he found absolutely not anything there but came down to the waiting room where I was to give me a good report and to give me a great report. The great report was that the 36 inches of colon that he had cut out of her body was back in her body and colons do not regenerate themselves. Of course I asked him how did he know this, and he said “I used the entire scope on her and the scope is over 70 inches long.” So God did perform a creative miracle for us.

SID: Now if you have to have surgery, that’s the right kind of surgery. David, what I want to know is, you had told me that God was speaking to you while you were doing this surgery and telling you to do something fairly unorthodox, that literally, to your knowledge, had never been done before. What happened?

DAVID: Well frankly, what I normally would do is take out the colon, which was unprepared obviously, uncleansed, and just bring in a colostomy and eliostomy; take out the gall bladder which was also gangrenous concomitantly. So at that point I felt in my heart the voice of the Lord speaking to me “Just put the colon back together, close the skin, I have done the work.” And so this is contrary to what I would normally do and I want to say this with the utmost of seriousness, this is something I would not normally violate, the principles of what I know to be true and correct.  But I know the voice of my Lord.  And so after deliberation and prompting two or three times, I just did what I felt in my heart the Holy Spirit was speaking to me. So I did it.

SID: But there was a risk on your part doing something unorthodox that had never been done before David.

DAVID: Oh absolutely.

SID: How did you have the chutzpa, that’s a Hebrew word, how did you have the chutzpa to do that?

DAVID: It’s all about relationship.  When you live a life of relationship with God, you hear His voice.  And this is not to be taken flippantly or to be taken casually, this is very serious.

SID: But what about the fact that half of her colon, you cut out and now it’s there? I don’t understand this.

DAVID: I don’t either. That’s why it’s… There’s a God.

SID: Is there any way medically speaking it could regenerate.

DAVID: No, absolutely not.

SID: Listen, we’ll be right back. I believe when David prays for you, some creative miracles will happen in your life. Don’t go away.

SID: Hello, Sid Roth your investigative reporter here with Dr. David Remedios. What happens when a medical doctor hears God’s voice so clearly and combines the best of medical surgery and the best of hearing God’s voice? David, that is natural. I think everything else is a stab in the dark.

DAVID: Thank you.

SID: Every time I look at you David, I think about where you are right now and where you came from. Tell us exactly your education from medical school on.

DAVID: Well I went to New York University School of Medicine and then I went after that to Mayo College of Medicine and then to University of South Florida and after that I joined the military and participated in the first Gulf War. So I was stationed in Alexandria Louisiana.

SID: And you also, he lectures on vascular surgery. This man is a very prominent vascular surgeon. But the greatest miracle, as far as I’m concerned, is as a teenager he found himself homeless on the streets of New York City.  Why were you homeless?

DAVID: Well it was actually secondary to my parents having split, and certainly at that point, with my father in particular. I was the oldest of six children, there was obviously a case of spousal abuse going on, and it was one of the most difficult things, particularly being the oldest child. And there’s a protective instinct to protect your mother and obviously I honored my parents regardless of what happened so I’m not one of those parent bashers.  I say this truly because this is a fact and with some pain in my heart. But still the facts are the facts.  And so, caught in the middle of them obviously, there was one point where I thought my father literally was going to kill me so at that point I ran and I ran and I ran. And after I ran, I don’t know, 15 or 20 blocks, probably more, I collapsed on the pavement and I began to laugh and cry at the same time because I realized my dad was not after me to kill me after all. And that’s where it all began.

SID: But how do you survive on the streets of New York City? How much money did you have?

DAVID: None.

SID: None?

DAVID: I just had my shoes and pants and shirt.

SID: But you had something more valuable than money. You had a relationship with God.  You literally at that point began to hear God’s voice. Tell me how you survived on those streets.

DAVID: Literally, it was a life of prayer. I would go to all night prayer meetings. It was also, literally there were times when literally my life depended on it. In particular there was one time when these two huge guys, they seemed like  eight or nine feet tall when in fact they probably were, I was short I guess. But I was literally held up and they put a knife right here on my throat, which that is not that infrequent in that part of New York City so I’m not saying anything extraordinary. This happens to a lot of people and a lot of people do lose their life under these conditions. And I said “Well Lord, what do I do now?”  I just looked and there were hundreds of people walking down the street as if nothing’s happening. And the Lord said “Just yell out ‘Dad!’” So I looked and I just said “Dad!” As soon as I said that they dropped me and I ran and I ran and I hid in a store and I was shaking and shivering.  And the Lord saved my life.

SID: But that wasn’t an exception. I mean I would think you would probably, every day…

DAVID: Yeah every day. It’s just things at that point, I took for granted.  I was just in a survival mode.

SID: How did you eat?

DAVID: There were different people in the church that would call me up to eat; they would share with me what they had. Wherever I ended up God always provided food. There was an uncle that sometimes provided for me. There was a period of time where a lady from the church who has seven kids took me in for a while. There was another lady.  I was actually going to Bible school at this young age, believe it or not.

SID: My goodness.

DAVID: God always provided.

SID: Listen: homeless, penniless, no food, and he ends up being a renowned vascular surgeon. But you learned something. As bad as it was, you learned something. You learned that you can trust God. You can trust His voice. Tell me about the very worst time that you were practicing surgery, the worst case you can remember. Now I don’t think anyone’s ever asked you that.

DAVID: Not really, but honestly, professionally, emotionally, it’s something I’d rather not remember. But it seems that in that point of greatest vulnerability is where God seems to do His best work. And in our weakness we’re made strong. So I recall there was a patient I had operated on, a very prominent man in my city, and I had done a colon anastomosis and within two and a half weeks he had gone into shock, septic shock, and he was dying.  And it was about 10 o’clock that night and there were two pastors in my house and several people. We were just having a prayer meeting. I get called into the emergency room and so I go in and I looked and his pressure’s dropping. I know that he’s dying. I need to go in and to explore him. And obviously I don’t want to go back into that abdomen because the first surgery was very difficult to begin with. Well, long story short, I begin and I’m operating. I begin about 10 or 11 o’clock that night; I’m operating the whole night straight.

SID: My goodness.

DAVID: Until 6 o’clock. And I’m sure, surgeons listening to me out there, you’ve probably had a similar case and this is no exception. We’ve all had cases like that if you’re in surgery long enough. So the more I operated, the bowel was literally falling apart, it’s difficult for me to talk about obviously, and the more I try to put things together, the bowel was so fragile it was literally falling apart and there was puss everywhere. And it got to the point literally the anesthesiologist gave up, they were humming, you know, even the other surgeon across the table from me had given up and he was like “Ok, well…” It was like people were going through the motions and that’s a very disheartening thing. It’s very disheartening.

SID: Sure, you want your patient to live.

DAVID: Absolutely. And I love this man. I love my patients. It’s a calling. It’s much more than a profession.  You want your patients to do well. I don’t know any doctor that doesn’t. And so at that point I kept praying but everybody around me seemed to be giving up and I remember on my way home, as soon as I finished,  I did what I could do, I finished the case, and it literally did not look good at all; say probably 95 percent chance of not surviving or better. And so I went home and I’ve never wept like this Sid, never in my life have I wept like this. I wept and wept.  I don’t know how I even saw the road after not sleeping all night. I got home, my wife was making coffee, and she looked at me and I threw myself in her arms and I wept and I wept.

SID: So I guess he died?

DAVID: No.

SID: No? What happened?

DAVID: He didn’t die. Well, he survived.

SID: He survived? We’ll be right back after this word.  I know you’re not going anywhere.

SID: Hello. Sid Roth here and I’m on the edge of my seat. I want to find out what God has shown Hank Kunneman in reference, you saw President Obama signing legislation and what happened then?

HANK: Well a wind came through. It was a spiritual wind that blew through.

SID: This was bad legislation.

HANK: Yeah, bad legislation. In fact, the Lord is saying, too, and I want people in the United States, and really those around the world because what a lot of things happen in the United States affects the world. It’s gonna look like we’re going backwards for the next 12 to 24 months. And it will look like what is going on. Lord, are you answering our prayers? What’s happening? What is up with this legislation? And all of a sudden God is going to do something. There’s a wind that’s gonna begin to blow. This window is beginning to open up. God is literally reaching towards President Obama’s heart, and we need to pray that he reaches back to do what’s honorable, to do what’s right in the sight of Almighty God. God is gonna hold this man accountable with his relationship and knowledge of Jesus, and we need to pray that God will continue to surround this man with godly counsel. Now with the legislation, the Lord showed a wind and this wind, Sid, with such force, came in and blew literally the paperwork and began to overturn the legislation. And the Lord said, “What has been done in the open,” I mean such blatant legislation that many of us are looking at it going, what is going on? The Lord said, “As blatant as it’s been in public I’m gonna do a public display to overturn it.” And I’m telling you, there’s something with this 2010, a generation of youth, that is going to rise up and they’re gonna be part of a generation that is going to take back some of the things that was pushed out, like in the baby boomer generation, and the Lord is even gonna get a harvest of the baby boomers and begin to cause them to rise up like never before and take back certain things in our nation.

SID: What do you see for the Supreme Court?

HANK: Well there’s another shift that’s getting ready to take place. In fact, I remember when the Lord first prophesied that there would be two Supreme Court justices, we haven’t had a shift in the court for years, and I remember prophesying that. And the Lord said the exact month that the first one would happen, and it happened, of course, a few years ago. And then He said there would be a total of three Supreme Court justices, which we did. But then He said there would come another shift and we would see a retiring take place. But He said this. He said, “One will fall from their seat.” And there would be a particular seat that has been held and it will look again like the court is gonna go in an opposite direction. But the Lord is getting to shift the courts in a way, once again, towards this legislation. Here’s the thing we have to remember.

SID: Shift the court in a godly way?

HANK: Towards what is right, and I’m gonna tell you why. Now to some people they may think, sure, right. We have to remember, God can change the heart of any man, and that’s really what we need to be praying for, is that God gets a hold of the heart of every man. Do you know that if they’re voted in and they believe a certain way and they stand in their judgment as the Supreme Court justice, do you know if God touches their heart they could change?

SID: Absolutely.

HANK: And that’s what the Lord is getting ready to do. There’s coming a shift on the courts again, and it will look like we’re going backwards. But the Lord is gonna begin to literally become the judge over the courts and we’re gonna see a lot of this legislation get overturned.

SID: So we could see America’s greatest days. You know, if you’re like many Bible believers and you see all the negative things and all you speak is the negative things rather than what you want to see happen, you’re actually helping. It says, “Can two walk together unless they be agreed.” Start agreeing that America’s greatest days are ahead. So Hank, you have these great prophetic words that have proven, I’ve research them, you have them on tape, you’ve said them on national television. I know you hear from God, but what about the person that’s watching right now? Are they Swiss cheese? Can they hear from God?

HANK: Yes because, first of all, there is a man in the Bible named Ananias. He ministered one of the most simple words to one of the greatest leaders, a guy named Apostle Paul, and all he heard was, “Go to a street called Straight.” That’s all he heard.

SID: So he changed the destiny of the world by going to the street called Straight.

HANK: Yeah. And in the Bible he was called a brother. You never hear of him again. And so yes. In fact, the Bible gives us a wonderful promise of the Holy Spirit, and I love it because it talks about the supernatural days that you and I are living, and that our sons and daughters will prophecy. Young men shall see visions and dreams, old men. And so, yeah, common people, common people hearing and doing the uncommon things. That’s gonna become more prevalent because of the supernatural day that we’re in.

SID: See, I believe that there’s going to be such a move on young people and it will be natural for them. They’re not gonna be like us going so many years and just being involved in religion. They’re gonna, like a rocket, they’re gonna take off. It will be normal for them to hear God’s voice. And for those of you that it’s not normal, I believe it’s about ready to get normal. Hank, what is God telling you about my favorite country, Israel?

HANK: Israel. Well let me tell you what is gonna happen, not only in Israel, but I feel something happening. Real quick, I just want to speak to you right now those watching by this camera, and I see in the name of Jesus of Nazareth, I see a spirit that is trying to speak to those that are watching in the area of suicide, and I break the power right now that’s trying to speak into your mind, and I break it in Jesus’ name. I say that that will not cause you to take your life in the name of Jesus. Now there’s others that are watching, in fact, the young. There’s some young people. I see tremendous audience of young. And I declare that the anointing of the Lord shall touch your eyes, shall touch your ears, that you will begin to see and hear, and know the plans and the secrets of God. For it was a prophet that opened the eyes of a young man to see in the spirit, and I decree that now over you to begin to have visions and dreams, and to see. And I even see a leader. There’s someone, a political leader. You’re watching. You don’t think anybody knows, but God does. And you’re asking about what to do. I declare over you now the spirit of wisdom rest upon you and I declare in the night hour that you shall be visited by the Lord and you will have the answer. Get a piece of paper and a pencil. Write down what will be said, and I tell you it will be the answer that you’re searching for. Israel, Sid, America, the United States is getting ready. I mean, it’s already in process. It’s kind of like the domino. All it takes is one domino and the rest of the dominos fall. Something is happening. A Jewish revival like we’ve never seen before is hitting the United States.

SID: You know, I feel a fire in my bones that this is God’s moment to have mercy on Israel and the Jewish people.

HANK: It is. It’s their window, too. Yes. Now one thing with Israel, and we really need to pray, and of course, we know this. They’re trying to push Israel into signing certain things. And I saw them literally getting pushed to a table. And the United States basically was threatening and saying that they were gonna pull out and they were gonna cut certain ties. And this was very real when I had this vision. And all of a sudden, Israel is being pushed to the table and there was tremendous tension between Israel and the United States. And at the last moment they pushed away and said, “No, we’re not gonna do this.” And I just really believe that we really need to be praying for Israel, not only because of the visitation of God coming, but because the Lord wants them not to be pushed into something politically.

SID: Quickly, Iran. What do you see?

HANK: There’s gonna be a regime change still in Iran. I thought it was gonna happen a few years ago. But watch. The youth are rumbling in that nation. God is visiting the youth and the youth are going to lead and begin to rise up, and there will be a regime change to protect Israel.

SID: Did you hear what Hank said? God is rearranging this whole world for the greatest move of His spirit in history. Literally, spiritual scales are coming off the eyes of Jewish people and they’re having experiences with Jesus. Spiritual scales are coming off the eyes of Muslims and they’re having experiences with Jesus. And I say that spiritual scales are coming off of your eyes right now. They’re coming off of your eyes right now. And if you will say, “I believe that Jesus died for my sins and I make him my Lord,” just say it with your mouth, your words, “and come and live inside of me,” you are ready to have the greatest adventure of your life. There is not a close second. Knowing God is everything. Knowing about Him, nothing.
