Sid: We want everyone to partake of the blessings of Roman’s Chapter 15 verse 27. I have the Executive Director of Jezreel International on the telephone, Barry Feinman another Jewish man that is red hot for the Jesus the Messiah. Barry what is the mandate in Roman’s 15:27.
Barry: Well Sid it says clearly, I’ll start at 26 “For it pleased those from Macedonia and Achia to make a certain contribution for the poor among the saints, who are in Jerusalem. It pleases them indeed and they are their debtors for if the Gentiles have been partakers of Israel’s spiritual things then their duty is also to minister to them in material things. And this is really where it’s at, it is really blessing Israel materially. Sid Roth messianic vision radio
Sid: Alright, what are the material things that Jezreel is doing?
Barry: Okay, basically what we do is we ship everything from paper products, to diapers to toys, to personnel care items, to even furniture. Things like even, simple things like you know we take for granted here, things we take for granted here would be toilet paper and those kinds of things. And I really feel Sid we’re in an hour right now that I sense like a Joseph time that even though parts of Israel are under attack, those cities we discussed yesterday, Siderot and some of the other places and people have such needs up there. But we’re also in a season I think that we have got to with the Hezbollah news recently with their missiles and everything else. We saw what took place with Israel and Lebanon just a couple of summers ago that we got to get in a Joseph position and begin getting stuff over to Israel so when the time of need comes we’re not scurrying to get it shipped there, it’s already there and in place. Another thing Sid we didn’t discuss but some of your listeners may be in a position, they may work for a K-mart or a Wal-Mart, a Target or they may work for a manufacture. Or they may work, they are a salesman for a large company and it’s endless the connections of supply that could come into our warehouse from different manufactures and places that we could get the supplies from. And yes finances are tremendous, but supplies are also we can’t seem to get enough, we get it in and as quick as it comes in that’s how quick it goes out.
Sid: And everyone that has been listening all this week, what I want you to do is find out information about Jezreel as I personally have. Then I want you to invest in Jezreel as our ministry Messianic Vision has invested for many years.
Barry: And I say thank you so much Sid for being a part and believing in us and helping us it has been a tremendous blessing.
Sid: Well, and thank you for being obedient to the call of God, but that’s why we want to make available a full brochure explaining Jezreel Ministry and how you can deal direct with them, but a portion of your money should always go towards humanitarian aid. Would you read and explain Isaiah 58.
Barry: Yeah, Isaiah 58 and I kind of couple Isaiah 58 right with Luke Chapter 3 because I don’t want people to think that I’m just quoting out of the Old Covenant, okay. If we look at the beginning of Isaiah 58 without reading it all we, are seeing a group of religious people that says “Cry aloud in spirit, lift up your voice like a trumpet and tell my people their transgressions and the house of Jacob their sins, yet they seek Me daily and they delight to know my ways as a nation that did righteousness and did not forsake the ordinances of their God. They asked of me, the ordinances of justice, they take delight in approaching God, why have we fasted they say and you have not seen us God. Why have we afflicted our souls and You take no notice and it says, in fact on the day of your fast you find pleasure and exploit all of your laborers; indeed you fast for strife and debate and strike with the fist of wickedness. You will not fast as you do this day to make your voice heard on high; is this the fast that I have chosen a day for a man to afflict his soul to bow down his head like a bulrush and to spread out sackcloth and ashes? Would you call this a fast?” And then the Lord answers Sid and I think this is really what’s so powerful in verse 6. “Is this not the fast that I have chosen God says? Number one to loose the bonds of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens and to let the oppressed go free that you break every yoke; is it not to share your bread with the hungry and that you bring to your house the poor who are cast out; when you see the naked that you cover him and not hide yourself from your own flesh.” And they he says, “When you do these things,” look what takes place, look at the promise of God when we do those things, because in verse 8 number one “Then your light shall break forth like the morning, your healing will;” were always talking about healing Sid. “Your healing shall spring forth speedily.” Here’s a little key to getting healed, “Bless the poor, your healing will spring forth speedily and your righteousness shall go before you; the glory of the Lord shall be your rear guard. This is my favorite word right here, “Then you shall call and the Lord will answer, you shall cry and God will say “Here I am, if you take away the yoke from your midst, the pointing of the finger and speaking wickedness, if you extend your soul to the hungry and satisfy the afflicted soul then your light shall dawn the darkness and your darkness, your personal darkness shall be as the noon day; the Lord will guide you continually and satisfy your soul in draught and strengthen your bones. You shall be like a watered garden and like a spring of water whose waters do not fail.”” That is so—–
Sid: You know Barry the thought crossed my mind because you have been involved in all of these years of sowing humanitarian aid into Israel and other nations. That’s why there’s been an increase of the miraculous at the congregation that you were formerly Messianic Rabbi over. Tell me just briefly a few of the miracles that are going on there.
Barry: Well Sid it was a Wednesday night we we’re doing a teaching series of healing and so there is a gal from our congregation who just recently at that time had both of her knee caps replaced. Something went wrong and she was out for over four months and just horrendous pain. We visited her in the hospital but she hadn’t been to our services for a long time because she basically could not walk. Well as the rehabilitation went on and she finally was able to at least move around a little bit she came to the Wednesday night service with a cane and walked just very slowly, wincing because the pain was still pretty much and she sat in the middle of the room and we were sharing on healing and everything else. We laid hands on her and absolutely nothing happened, she was not healed, she left the same way she came in, very encouraging after teaching on healing, you know what that’s like. [Laughing] Anyway the following week she comes back again and this night I was teaching on laying on of hands and how God uses that as well, and so she sitting back and it must have been eight nine rows back and she said, “Lord, please send somebody back here to lay hands on me please.” And nobody did and she got up and she started walking out and meantime we had prayer lines up front and people were laying hands on people, and she just started walking out the door and as she got to the back of the sanctuary she heard audibly “Caroline, walk,” just like that. And she looked around wondering who said that to her and no one was back there every one was up front. I was even getting prayer up front and as she got to the back of the sanctuary she heard it again, “Carolyn walk.” So she looked up and she goes “Yes Lord,” and all of a sudden she took a step, no pain, she took another step, no pain, and all of a sudden she starts coming to the front running quickly, I didn’t see her, my back was to her, but someone else saw her with her cane in her hand and all of a sudden a fellow in our congregation grabbed the microphone and said, “Everyone get your attention, Carolyn was just healed!” And everyone turned around there was Carolyn jumping up and down and she felt tremendous heat flow through her body, both of her knees got very, very hot and both of her knees were healed that night. And she left the cane with me and still this moment it’s still sitting on our pulpit as a reminder of the powerful healing of God. It was awesome. Sid Roth articles
Sid: You know Barry there has never been a greater time for humanitarian aid to Israel, there has never been a greater time for sharing the gospel with Jewish people and I don’t have time to go into it, but there are many forces about. Some are saying even to you Jewish people aren’t interesting in the gospel and you don’t know what God is doing, you don’t understand that God is removing the spiritual scales from the eyes of Jewish people.
