So, through the gifts of the Spirit, through the operation of the supernatural, you’re going to win people to Christ, to the Messiah. Hallelujah. Alright, so let’s look at this now. Again, faith begins where the will of God is known. So, to do what Jesus did and greater. We’ve already looked at that already in terms of that’s what Jesus said that whoever believes in Him would do what He did and even greater. So we have that for one of the “I will’s” and we look at that again, John 14:12. Next is, if you want to do what Jesus did then do what Jesus did. Well again, I’ve already given that quote out of my notes here. One of the things I’ve recognized as I’ve looked though at the life of Jesus, looking at how did Jesus do what Jesus did. In one of the upcoming sessions we’re going to see, Jesus did what Jesus did not because He was God, because if He did one miracle because He was God then you and I could never do what He did because we’re not God. He did everything that He did because of the baptism of the Holy Spirit, because He was filled with the Holy Spirit and even though He was God, He did no miracles because of God. So, that’s kind of a peek at what’s coming up here in one of our next sessions, but what I’ve looked at, what I’ve seen as I’ve studied now the supernatural for twenty-five, thirty-five years, excuse me, thirty-five years, is one of the key ingredients in the life of Jesus. Again, if you want to do what Jesus did then do what Jesus did. Jesus had a life of prayer, fasting and self-denial and there’s no greater insight you’re going to have. If you really want to step out into the fullness of what God has for you, you have to emulate the life of Jesus. You have to emulate His behavior and just as He had a life of prayer, fasting and self-denial, so you to need to develop a behavior like that. That you put time into prayer; praying in the natural, praying in the Spirit. Fasting or self-denial; people that do my discipleship program, literally, over the course of six months, I have them literally, fast every day. Talk about a super weight loss program, amen? But, it’s not about fasting, literally, and I encourage you, you can do this without doing my program, but what you want to do is everyday write down on a piece of paper, what are you going to fast today? What are you going to deny yourself? One day it might be food. The next day it might be Facebook. The next day it might be coffee. The next day it might be watching television. You know, what’s important is you develop a behavior of self-denial. That’s what Jesus did. He had a life of self-denial. Matter of fact, He said in Matthew 16, “If any man is going to be my disciple, he must deny himself, take up his cross and follow Me.” Amen.
