Sid: I have a book in my hand that has a 50 year old secret as to how America became a superpower, and it involved a miracle, a series of miracles. And you know when I talk to Jewish people that do not know the Messiah they ask the question, “Where was God during the Holocaust? How come God didn’t look after us if we’re the chosen people?” There’s answers in this book, and there are answers as to why God is blessing America, why God is blessing those that bless the Jewish people. The name of the book is called “The Journey of Private Galleon.” Had Private Galleon not followed the Spirit of God America would not be a superpower and we’d be speAchimg Russian in the Streets of New York City and California. No I won’t tell that little joke that almost came out. My guest is Mary Nahas the author; why did your Dad keep his secret secret for over 50 years and almost took this story to his grave?
Mary: He was asked on April 11, 1945 never to tell anyone that he was the person who found Middle Val Dora Concentration Camp. His sergeant was working to decorate or to set up for decoration only certain soldiers within the group and my father didn’t fit within the criteria.
Sid: But what I found interesting in your book is you talk about they had already prearranged which soldiers were going to have prominence for their futures and your father wasn’t in those plans. I find that pretty fascinating.
Mary: Yes, my father overhead this in a secret meeting that took place.
Sid: And what your father walked into was not only a concentration camp, but the rockets and the ballistic missiles that the German scientists were creating. They actually had plans of sending a missile to New York City, isn’t that correct?
Mary: Yes, that’s correct.
Sid: I also find fascinating how your father’s life was spared over and over again. Obviously there was this strong destiny on his life, but even before we get to that there’s a destiny on your life. You were just a teenager, fifteen and two men prophesied over you, what was the prophesy?
Mary: I was invited to a church and they picked me out a crowd of people and called me to the front of this church. As a fifteen year old I was trembling, I just wanted to go hide, and they said a prophecy over me that was in the form of a conversation between the two prophets. And what was said was the first prophet who seemed to have all the information said to me, “Was your father in the war?” And I said, “Yes, he was.” But I was thinking what does this have to do with church? And he said, “God is going to use you greatly.” Right then his partner the other prophet walked up to him and said, “Who is she?” meaning in the sands of time, who am I? And he said, “Her father was a liberator of the German camps, but he hasn’t told anyone and then he corrected himself and said, “Not all the camps, not Auschwitz or any of those just the German ones, he saved a remnant.” And then he said, “But I thought there was not one liberator, I thought the troops found the camps by accident as they were advancing.” And the man said, “No there was a journey behind it all her father took the journey, he walked many miles and saved many people.” And then the man said to him, “What is her mission, what does she have to do with this story, with her father’s story?” He said, “Oh, someday he’s going to tell her the story and she’s going to write it. It’s going to mean a lot to the nations of the Holocaust.” Well I left that day not believing a word they said, I didn’t even know what a liberator was or a concentration camp, we didn’t have that in our schools that education. But I did go home and I said, “Daddy do you have a secret your keeping concerning the war?” And he said, “Yes, I do why do you ask?” And I told him everything I just told you and he said, “Oh, these men must be real because there is a story that I’ve been keeping to myself, and I do want to tell you someday.” And I said, “Woe, tell me now.” And he said, “No, it’s not time yet.” Sid Roth it’s supernatural tv program
Sid: And as I said earlier it’s amazing how his life was spared, you see he made an oath that he would not divulge what had occurred at this concentration camp, but the prophet knew about it, God knew about it. Tell me about the time that he fell into the frozen lake?
Mary: Well, my Dad grew up under the real strong arm of an old world authoritarian from Italy and he had to work like a slave laborer. He would pick beans until his fingers bled; and one day it snowed and he was so excited that there would be no beans to pick, no nothing, no work to do that he ran to the river, he couldn’t wait to go ice skating. In those days they skated in their shoes, but when he reached the river nobody was there and he was very disappointed, but the voice of temptation kept saying, go ahead, step out onto the ice and go to the middle it will be fun. Well, my father said, he knew better, but he did it anyway he was too tempted to have fun. And he skated all the way to almost the middle of the river when a soft spot gave way and he fell through the ice. When he fell through the ice, and the second his body hit the water the current carried him under the ice and was pulling him down stream.
Sid: Boy, I can just imagine that has to be such a horrifying fact, he’s there alone, he’s under the ice, there’s no way he can get out.
Mary: That’s the thing about my father even though he was dying all he could think of was his mother and all the children that she had lost, and how she would be more grieving; not only did she lose the son that he was named after the dead son Johnny, but now he was thinking to himself now she won’t even know where my body is. And then he said to me that was the last thing I remember thinking under the water when I found myself laying beside the water. For the life of me I don’t know who rescued me. He said, I looked all around trying to find who rescued me and I could see far because it was all farmland covered in snow and there was nobody in sight. And then he said, “I looked for footprints in the snow, I was going to follow them and go thank who rescued me, but there was only one set of footprints in the snow and they were mine. He said, I knew that I couldn’t stay there any longer I was going to freeze to death right there by the river; I made myself, I forced myself to get up even though my legs were stiff, and to walk all the way home, like I think it was a half or a quarter mile to get to home. And when he got home he said, “Something amazing happened that has an answer to a holocaust question, and he didn’t realize would answer a question later in his life.” And I’ll just read this short paragraph of what happened; “He thought that when he got home he would be in big trouble for what he had done and in the Italian family they hit you for causing yourself harm or mAchimg your parents worry. But when he walked in the door his mother saw him shAchimg like a leaf, with ice icicles hanging off of him she realized that she had almost lost another child. She grabbed me hard and pulled me into her, she was holding me tight and kissing me all over and thanking God over and over for bringing me back to her. My mother had lost so many children that she couldn’t bear the thought of losing one more, she was so grateful that I didn’t die, that I came back to her. Its supernatural Sid Roth 2011
Sid: Mary, your father should have died, there was not footprints of anyone pulling him out.
Mary: Yes.
Sid: All he remembered was being under the ice, but it was obviously for an important destiny. You realize what the future of America would have been if your father had not discovered that camp? One of the things that I love about the book is the history you have of some of the rocket scientists like, Wernher Von Braun. How did you learn all these things?
Mary: I had to study twenty books on the war before I could even write this book so that I could totally understand the importance of my father’s mission and his journey. And when I came to the end I realized that God was behind all of this. Like He said, “That He was the one that sent my father.” But I asked my father this question, I asked him “Who saved you at the river, did you ever find out? And who pushed you by the train, we haven’t gotten to that part of the story yet.”
Sid: Well, what was his answer?
Mary: Well, when I asked him did you find out who saved you at the river he said, “Considering what the importance of what came out of my life in the end; at the end of his life looking back he said, “God was not going to let me die until my purpose was fulfilled. My purpose was to save the prisoners, to bring the weapons here to the United States.” He believed had he not done that, see all those weapons were sitting in the Russian zone of occupation and Stalin was rubbing his hands together eager to get there. But when Stalin arrived to the camp and those missiles were gone he was livid.
Sid: Literally we would not have been the first people on the moon.
Mary: Yes.
Sid: If that technology had fallen into the Russian hands. Listen our time is up today.
