Sid: How would you like to be in the full dwelling place of God by His Spirit? If you have something to do with reaching Jewish people, then you are merging that wonderful ancient spiritual DNA on the Jew with that New Covenant spiritual DNA on the Gentile to form the full dwelling place of God by His spirit. And I have a young man on the telephone by the name of Ryan Wyatt and I saw him several years ago speaking and I was so impressed with his teaching gift and with the signs and wonders that followed after he taught that I got to know him. And he contacted me recently because, Ryan Wyatt, you got to answer this question. You are a young man, how old are you?
Ryan: I’m thirty-two.
Sid: Okay, how do you know so much? How do you know so much about the supernatural? I mean you’re literally provoking me to jealousy. Why do you know so much, you shouldn’t know so much as you do at thirty-two?
Ryan: Well you know Sid, I’ve always been someone whose just hungry for the real thing and you know anybody can read the scriptures and many people know the scriptures and the Pharisees and the Sadducees knew the scriptures. But when you read the scriptures and you cry out to God for the reality of New Testament Christianity to come into your life, the scriptures become a doorway into experiencing the Living Word, which is Jesus Christ.
Sid: But, you have a gift of communicating things in such a simple fashion and these are deep, deep things of the supernatural.
Ryan: Yeah, it came in the glory, having experiences in the supernatural presence of God, God equips you; He empowers you with His Holy Spirit. And just out of intimacy with Him God has given me gifts and abilities to be able to train people to know Him more and to experience His glory, His supernatural presence.
Sid: Now, you’ve had many crucial points in your life that made you who you are today and I’m going to take you back to when you were sixteen years of age and you were back packing in the Big Horn Mountains of, where are the Big Horn Mountains?
Ryan: It’s in the Colorado line area.
Sid: And a snow storm comes, why were you out there by yourself? I know enough about climbing mountains that you don’t go by yourself.
Ryan: Yes, we were on a youth group back packing trip and we had, each of us had a little bit of time to ourselves. And looking back at it Sid, I feel it was a divine setup from the Lord in getting lost and God was after my heart.
Sid: Okay, so you got lost from the group and there’s a snow storm going on, fill us in on the details.
Ryan: Well, the snow storm had not started yet, I was lost out in the mountains and I was out there for hours, I was out there all night long. Ended up slipping…
Sid: How could was it?
Ryan: It was very cold, it was in the middle of June, but we were in a very high elevation and it got a lot colder when I slipped into the river. And it was freezing freezing water and the group had searched all night and was not able to find me. They even sent someone down the mountain to get Red Cross and Red Cross said that there was a snow storm that was about to hit at that elevation and that they had no hope of finding me until tomorrow, until the next day. And I just began to cry out to God, I realized that my life was about to be over and I began to cry out to God. And Sid, all I know was what came out of my mouth was, “God if you’ll save me I’ll give my life to You in full time ministry.” And I remember thinking, wow I didn’t mean to say that, but …
Sid: At that point were you a sold out committed Christian?
Ryan: No I wasn’t, I loved the Lord, I had a real salvation experience, but I had become lukewarm. I had backed away in my heart towards the Lord and really was in a place of desperation where I realized I was going to die and I was crying out to God for desperate help and I heard Him audibly that night for the first time in my life when I said, “God I’ll give to you in full time ministry if You save me.” And I’ll never forget it, it was like God’s voice thundering through the mountains, He said “Okay!” and that’s all He said, and within moments the group found me supernaturally; we were a whole mountain apart from each other.
Sid: Well, did you keep your word to the Lord? Did you keep your promise?
Ryan: I did Sid, that was at the age of sixteen and because of that testimony opportunities opened up to begin preaching the Word of God, the gospel around a ten state region at the age of sixteen. God opened up the doors and I walked through them.
Sid: Okay, I’m going to take you to the great Brownsville, revival in Pensacola, Florida. Which I went to many times with Steve Hill, and Pastor Kilpatrick and from all over the world, back sliders came there and rededicated there life to the Lord, and there was so many miracles and so many things. But what effect did it have on you?
Ryan: Well, it was during that time Sid of being a student in the School of Ministry there that I had a visitation, a two and a half month visitation from the Lord. At times He would manifest in the glory cloud of His presence like He did with Moses and like He did with the priests at times in the temple. And for two and a half months every day God would visit me and just break my heart with passion for Him and it was in those moments in that two and half months where He taught me about how to live in the presence of God and He taught me about His Kingdom and how to move in miracles and signs and wonders and…
Sid: So, you were in the School of Ministry, but you were also in the school of the Holy Spirit.
Ryan: Absolutely, I had my own personal visitation right in the midst of that revival.
Sid: And you found a wife.
Ryan: Yes, I did that was my better half, I found my better half and that was one of the greatest fruits of that time, absolutely.
Sid: And I find it fascinating that your wife’s grandparents there was a miracle, it was written up in a book by Kathryn Kulman, “I believe in miracles.” Tell me briefly about that.
Ryan: Yes, Kelly’s grandmother had a severe form of cancer and she was healed sitting under Kathryn Kulman’s ministry and Kathryn had her on her television show and also shared about it in her book. And I have had other family members saved and healed under Kathryn’s ministry.
Sid: Now, God told you something that our Mishpochah really need to know. You were meditating on the scriptures and you’re really big on meditating on the scriptures and we’ll talk about that a little later on in the week. But the Lord physically walked into your hotel room, tell me about that.
Ryan: Yes, I was getting ready to preach in a meeting and I was just asking the Lord what he wanted to do and suddenly Sid, the temperature in the room immediately changed, it got very very warm. And I began to feel the presence of God like many would even in the Kathryn Kulman days beginning to vibrate from the inside out. And I thought my goodness what is going on? And I began to weep just as the presence was so strong. And Jesus walked from around the corner of my hotel room into my room and He was covered with oil Sid. And as He stood next to me that oil manifested on me, my hair was covered with oil; my face was covered with oil; my clothes were covered with oil and Jesus began to speak to me for those few moments there and it absolutely changed my life forever.
Sid: What did He say to you?
Ryan: He said, Ryan I am desperately hungry that I would have a people that they would lay hold of their full inheritance. And He began to show me images of Him dying on the cross and how many believers are only living according to you know, by what one drop of His blood paid for. Many believers are living a life saying, “Well I’m saved, I’m born again and one day I’m going to go to Heaven.” But Jesus died and rose from the dead not just so that we would go to Heaven, but that we would connect Heaven to earth. And it’s part of our inheritance to experience Him in great depths now in this life; to experience on earth as it is in Heaven.
Sid: You know we have a spectator sport mentality in reference to Christianity. What is going to change this Ryan? I mean as I understand it the least Christian 2,000 years ago would probably have had their own television show today.
Ryan: Yes, I believe the church has settled into a place of apathy and complacency because many in the church have forgotten our goal and our purpose on the earth. Many have settled for this idea that we’re just to be a good Christian and the world is going to get really dark all around us, but there is nothing we can do about it and just hang on, be a good Christian and Jesus is going to come save us just in the nick of time. But God has revealed to me and it’s in the scriptures that Heaven is coming here. Heaven is coming to earth and we are the gateways of God, we are the House of God, the body of Jesus Christ on the earth. And one of the things the Lord told me is that “Before He comes for us, He’s first going to come to us and through us to demonstrate who He is to the world.”
Sid: Now, did He tell you that at the time when He walked into your hotel room?
Ryan: Yes, He did, yeah He spoke…
Sid: You have to repeat that again, that is powerful!
Ryan: Yeah, he said, “Ryan before I come for the church I’m first going to come to them and visit them and come through them to manifest myself to the world.” He also said, this Sid, He said, “I’m desperately hungry that I would have My full inheritance in My people.” And He toke me to Ephesians Chapter 3, where Paul, the Apostle Paul says “That through the church the manifold wisdom of God will be put on display to the principalities and the powers of the air.” We’re living in a time where the recent statistics says that most believers don’t even have a Biblical world view, which means they don’t know what God wants to do through the church to impact the world.
Sid: Ryan, what if at sixteen, someone had put in your hands the book that you have just published its brand new, it’s called “School of the Supernatural,” what difference would it that have made in your life?
Ryan: It would have accelerated my walk with God exponentially; it would have cut fifteen years off of knowledge and it would have been a gold mine in my hands to show me what is available to me in my relationship with God.
Sid: What I love about the book is that you teach about all these areas that you’ve walked in supernaturally; how to tap in to this supply of Heaven that is already inside of you; how to become a habitation of God; how to discern His voice; what’s blocking your being able to hear His voice; what’s blocking your intimacy; how to see into the invisible world; how to bring the presence of God into any circumstance in your life.
