KYNAN: And you have a whole generation of people who don’t understand necessarily what is happening but they want God. They want to hear God. They want to experience God but they don’t know the old testimonies. They don’t know the stories. They don’t know. They don’t know all of the things that the elders knew.
NAIM: Yes.
KYNAN: How important is it for this next generation of prophets to speak in such a way that we are releasing people? And what role is this next generation going to play, you know, in this next move of God?
HAKEEM: Well I like what you just said about the old and you know there is, an emergence but there is a Joshua generation.
KYNAN: Yeah! Come on!
HAKEEM: And I’m reminded of Moses.
KYNAN: Come on!
HAKEEM: When Moses, you know God begin to speak prophetically to Joshua and say, “Listen! Moses is dead! You need to just arise!”
KYNAN: Yeah. [laughing]
HAKEEM: You need to come up out of that place.
KYNAN: Yeah!
HAKEEM: And so it was that Joshua generation and that Joshua responsibility is to move forward!
KYNAN: Yeah.
HAKEEM: And get beyond. But I think what happens is we get stuck!
KYNAN: Come on!
HAKEEM: And I believe that the millennials are the emerging generation that needs the fathering generation.
KYNAN: Come on!
HAKEEM: That is, really to me, the very key. And that is what’s missing right now with some millennials because we get excited. You know we think we already know it.
KYNAN: Yeah! [laughing]
