Sid: Now there’s a term that we’ve been talking about this week that many of you are not familiar with and some are. But you’re going to learn more about it; I have Julie True on the telephone and she as far as I’m concerned is the top singing artist and musician I know for soaking music and worship music. And just I like to refer to it as and you can probably feel it even in the atmosphere even as I’m talking to her “peace package.” Now Julie we went and we combined the awesome anointing in our It’s Supernatural television studio and the awesome anointing on you and your worship team. And you did some special spontaneous songs on worship and we’re calling it “24-7 worship.” And we did a DVD of it and which is a little longer than our CD. And then you compiled a special CD for us on worship but we had our studio audience do something different; they just laid on their backs and some had pillows; some had blankets and they soaked. Tell me how you usually have your people soak; start out by telling me what soaking is how it usually occurs.
Julie: Well, my definition of soaking is a time to quiet your mind and be awakened in your spirit. And it’s a time to be still and know that God is God and it’s a time to just be in relationship with God in a real personal kind of way. And now the way we do soaking and now you know there’s not a real hard core definition other than I feel like it’s flowing in the Spirit. And so from a musical standpoint what we do and my team is that we come in and we have absolute no agenda about what we’re going to do or sing or say. And we just sit down; I start playing a cord and I begin making sound and sometimes I’m just making sound. It’s singing in the Spirit or sometimes I sing syllables or I just start singing a sentence to the Lord and I just open up.
Sid: You are not entertaining; you are worshiping God; that’s the difference that I see.
Julie: Yes it’s like our hearts are set on Him; we’re there to be with Him and so much of what I call soaking time is worship but it’s also a lot of just expressing my love to Him on many levels. Or even my hurts to Him; sometimes I’m expressing my hurts to Him and He just will take me through a place of comfort because a lot of people in there they maybe having hurts and I’m tapping into that maybe I don’t know. But anyway we just flow with whatever God is doing that day and it’s different every single time; it’s so wonderful because it’s not dead there’s a lot of life in it; it’s fresh and it’s real. And we just love; you get where you love hearing what God’s going to do that day and where He’s going to take you. And you get to express your own heart to God and not anybody-elses place – their songs or their thoughts; and that’s how we do it.
Sid: Now tell me when a person is soaking tell me what they should be doing.
Julie: Well, I believe from my paradigm and my definition they aren’t talking; they’re not praying; they’re not even praying in tongues; they’re not worshiping; they’re not walking around. They are just being still and they are receiving mostly; they’re just receiving. Now from my standpoint I’m ministering in a different way but they are just receiving and so that’s what it’s mostly about but it has become…some people do soaking and they it’s much more loud and more movement and some people are using flags and dancing and things like that. But in my rim where God uses me it’s mostly in peace and rest and so my soaking times are usually very quiet.
Sid: What kind of feedback occurred to people after they’ve been soaking for awhile do you hear?
Julie: Many many people have been healed and had heart types of healing; you know inner healing but also physical healing. And a lot of people say that they can sleep; I had one lady that said, Heather she said that her Mom had given her some soaking music of mine to listen to and she was skeptical about it. But that she woke up for the first time in years without any anxiety and without taking any pill. And so in years she had not gone to sleep with taking a pill. And so I don’t know it changes you know it soaks into your heart and your soul and your spirit and it soaks away all the hard crusted stuff that’s on our hearts and it infiltrates our whole body. It permeates every cell; I believe that God can literally heal cells with certain tones and frequencies that He can use through somebody who is ministering in His anointing.
Sid: You know we had a guest that taught how you can get rid of the curses of your ancestry through breaking the curses in Jesus Name. But I believe what I’m hearing you say and you actually change your DNA but I believe you have tapped into a frequency in Heaven that is changing people’s corrupted DNA and it’s a gradual thing. But I just believe that if they soak in your music enough everything is going to change closer to what God intended.
Julie: I do too; I think that it’s a supernatural thing and it takes us into spirit to spirit connection and it by passes our mind. And it’s like really hard to do that because in our culture we’re so busy but it’s on a whole other level.
Sid: Now I asked you to create something for us on worship because I’ve come to learn that that is so critical for intimacy with God; for walking in favor of God. For making us irresistible to God and one of the things that you do that I thought was an amazing idea is that you sing the songs and anyone; you don’t need a good voice to do that do you.
Julie: No, anybody can sing. I don’t know if David in the Bible had a good voice but he sang out in the fields while he was taking care of his sheep so I think that it’s meant for all of us.
Sid: Could you for like 30 seconds just sing a line from Psalms; give us an illustration.
Julie: Well, one of my favorite passages that I told you last time was Psalm 103. So one day I just starting singing “All that is with in me” (Excerpt by Julie True 8:30-8:58.5) And that’s how I sing to God; I just take a line out of Psalms sometimes and just keep singing it and the more that you sing it the more you digest it into your own emotions so that you are saying “Everything that is within me God I bless Your Name because You are worthy to praised and You are God.” And you know it’s important that we each sing with our own voice too. And so I encourage everybody to try doing that; just take one line out of a Psalm with you and try singing it.
Sid: Well Julie I think everyone that heard you without music just singing that felt that anointing that you carry….
Julie: (10:44.7 excerpt)
